Story
My mother passed away survived by three fury friends Fred, Chloe and Molly. She loved cats and has had several others at one time or another in her long life. We are caring for them in the house where she once lived. But we can not take them in because we have a high strung dog that does not adjust well to other animals. Fred is sweet and seems to be the most affected by my mom's passing. He does seem to need somebody to love. It is likely going to take some time for him to adjust to a new owner, but we are hopeful that someone can give him the special care he needs.

Story
Buddy is a very loving and handsome boy that needs to be re-homed together with his equally, sweet, little bit shy and loving brother Gelato. The two are three year old bonded littermates and therefore should not be separated. They will only be re-homed together Buddy and Gelato both had their teeth cleaned this past December by a veterinarian dental surgeon. They are now of perfect health. Buddy has had two UTI‘s in the past and is on a UTI prevention food formula. Both cats are extremely well behaved loving, quiet, calm and low maintenance. They sleep in our bedroom and are completely quiet all through the night. We love these two cats dearly but Buddy especially has shown increased anxiety (hiding) being around our dog. We had to make the decision to give up either the two cats or the dog and chose the cats because we feel they might be a little less traumatized since they would still have each other. The boys are wonderful.

Gelato is a very shy, loving, sweet boy that needs to be re-homed together with his also very loving and handsome brother Buddy. They are three year old bonded littermates and should therefore not be separated. Gelato and Buddy both had their teeth professionally cleaned this past December by a veterinarian dental surgeon and Gelato had to have three of his back teeth extracted. They are now in great health but it is recommended to have their teeth cleaned on a regular basis either professionally or at home with dental paste, water additives and/or dental treats. Gelato is a carrier of the Calicivirus and Buddy has had two UTI’s and is on a special diet per recommendation of our vet to prevent them from happening. Both cats are amazingly well behaved and calm. They sleep in our bedroom and are completely quiet throughout the night. We have to rehome them due to their growing anxiety being around our dog.

Story
Maisie is extremely sweet and loving. Maisie was coming into our workshop to eat where I would leave food out for ferals. Within a week she was cautiously coming closer and wanting to be petted somewhat. She was quite aware that her surroundings were not safe and kept hidden until she heard me coming with the food. We live in a very rural area. She obviously did not start her life being an outside loner and would walk with me until I got too far away from the shop. She is inside now and getting much needed rest from the stress of survival. I have done several rescues and she rates at the top.Her ideal home I think would be with an older knowledgeable adopter. She would love someone to be home a good portion of the day, just know she would be ready to greet you home. She loves to cuddle in your arms. Because of her probably being put out she has to learn that you love her. It took less than a week for me just feeding her and sitting with her.

Story
Ollie has a very sweet side to him, very affectionate, and even a lap cat at times. He is a volunteer favorite for sure! This handsome fellow was found living outside, and we believe he's about four years old. When he first came to the rescue, he was not very happy. But we've seen a shift in him, and he's doing so much better! Ollie would probably still be most happy being your only pet, so he can be king of his castle. Come meet this cutie, and when he gazes at you with his big green eyes, you'll surely want to take him home.

Story
Cola is about 3 years old.  He was just a little kitten when he was found in a Chick-fill-et parking lot.  The two girls who found him brought him to a vet office since they couldn’t take him with them.  He had already been neutered and he does have an ear tip, but he considers it a badge of honor.  He loves to play and really should have another cat to play with.  He gets along with the other cats, but he should be with other cats about the same age and energy.  He is also very affectionate and loves to snuggle, as long as it’s his idea.  I think he would be fine with dogs and respectful kids and would probably love to play with them especially if they have string toys or balls he can chase.  At the end of the day, he will also curl up to sleep on the bed with you. He mainly eats dry food, but he also won’t say no to a nightly snack of canned food, especially if it’s in gravy. He is almost solid black with just one spot of white on his chest. ##547483##

Story
Teeny is in a foster home searching for her forever family! If you are interested in meeting her, call or text the Lifesaving Team at 864-467-3985. Teeny is a soft little soul with a quiet charm that sneaks up on you in the best way. At first she was a bit shy, but she’s really come into her own—spending her days happily socializing, chatting away in her adorable voice, and soaking up all the pets she can get. She loves being near her people (especially if there’s a cozy bed involved for nap time!) and will even come when you call her name. At night, her playful side shines—she’s a toy mouse hunter at heart, leaving her “treasures” scattered like tiny gifts. She also enjoys the company of other cats and would love a feline friend to bond with. While she still appreciates having a safe space to retreat to, Teeny is growing more confident every day, showing her affection through sweet purrs, gentle head bumps, and quiet companionship. Fully litter trained and easygoing at mealtime, Teeny would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom into the loving, playful girl she’s meant to be. 💕
