We had a cat experienced foster home willing to take her in as a foster and get her used to domestic life. It took months, but now she loves the indoors, and loves human affection and attention. She follows her foster mom, Emilie, around the house, “yelling” at her, and demanding pets and butt scratches. She also gets along well with the resident cats and dog, and you can often find her hanging out with the dog!

Myrtle is a quirky, talkative kitty with a big personality! She’s always meowing about something and loves high-up spaces to observe the world. While she’s not the biggest fan of being held, she’ll sometimes demand attention at your feet—on her terms, of course. Her true love? Boxes. If she fits, she sits! She enjoys her hammock swing, loves being brushed (she’ll drool in delight), and prefers dry kibble over wet food. Nail clipping? Absolutely not. She’ll scream in protest, but a good scratch post keeps her happy. I’m rehoming Myrtle after moving in with my partner, whose dog, Bernard, and Myrtle don’t get along. This is Truffles, a one-year old girl who has the sweetest disposition. She was a stray that was trapped, but was way too nice to be put back outside. She is very affectionate and will jump right into your lap. She has no interest in toys, at least not yet. Truffles is also afraid of other cats, so she would prefer to be an only child.

Poor Juno has had a rough life- She was surrendered as a stray, pregnant and sick. She needed emergency surgery and it took some time but she now is healthy and only wants to be someone's lap cat! Hi there! My name is Raya. I am a brown tabby estimated at about a year old. I was named as a queen who deserves her own castle and companion. I like to spend cuddly time melting my head and body into your hand and accepting all the chin rubs you have to offer. This is my favorite time and way to bond with my human. My Story: I was found outside at an apartment complex as a heavily pregnant teen kitty in fall of 2024 at approximately 6 months old. On this Friday afternoon, I was rescued into a warm place and given a best to become comfy in. I had to wait until Monday to be taken in for a spay appointment. I was restless, tossing and turning, getting up and down to try to become comfortable. I popped out 3 babies overnight early Monday 4am while awaiting to be taken to a walk in Spay appointment that morning. I worked hard taking care of her littlest baby that was smaller than the other 2 whom unfortunately did not make it. After the babies started walking and eating on their own, I felt within that I reached another level of motherhood and accomplishment. Kate has quite a story.  In 2015, Kate was part of an at-risk feral colony.  She and five others were humanely trapped.  They were hissy, lunged and wanted nothing to do with humans.  In time, however, each found loving, forever homes.  Kate was the last to tame.  But 2018, she was adopted.  While her home was loving, it wasn't forever.  The woman who adopted her developed health issues. In 2022, Katie was back at the shelter.  It's been five years since Katie's shelter days.  She has gained some weight but still has her very expressive, big, round eyes.  Now she likes to be petted for short periods of time. She'll even gives head bumps!  She always liked other cats and still does.  Her favorite things are eating, playing laser light and looking out the window.  We can't guarantee that Katie will ever be a lap cat, but we can promise she'll be a great companion and appreciate every day in her forever home. Iggy was one of many cats and kittens living in a colony here in Washington... Pet Search has been working on providing TNR (trap/neuter/release/return) and once Iggy and his litter mates were trapped, brought them into our foster home program. Iggy is a handsome cat (5/15/22) with a strong personality. He is a little shy of new people at first but does enjoy his time being petted.
