Sweet Gertie is in need of a furever home! Hi everyone! My name is Gertie and I am a beautiful gray tabby approximately 2 years of age. I showed up on a porch in Bucks County where the homeowner kindly started feeding me and made arrangements to get me fixed. It was at my spay appointment where it was discovered that I had Pyrometra. It is a very life threatening infection of the uterus that can happen in young female cats when they are not spayed. Thankfully the vet was able to perform the surgery needed to save my life and I have made a full recovery and ready to find my furever family! My foster mom says I love to head butt you for pets and to be with you! I like to play and especially love my new tunnel😻 I do like to be held but will let you know when i want to get down. I have tested positive for FIV but my rescues have told me that’s no big deal and that most people know now that I can live a long normal life with FIV if I am kept inside and on a good diet😊 Normally they would also say I could live with other cats even FIV negative but in this instance I have made it pretty clear that I don’t really like living with other animals and would need to be the only pet in my furever home😻 I have overcome a lot in my short years and my rescuers would love to see me find the family I deserve where I will be spoiled and cherished! Chuck is a 2 year old "kitten". He has a goofy personality and is incredibly affectionate. He's playful and full of life, but also likes to be held like a baby and cuddled. Chuck is a big boy, granted a few lbs overweight, but regardless a large cat. He has his claws and enjoys a scratching post. Loves to sleep in cat trees by a window. Chuck enjoys our 2 other cats, but they're older and he's too rambunctious with them and they're becoming unhappy and stressed, which is the biggest reason I want to rehome him. He wants all of your attention but with a small baby in the home and working full time it's hard to give him what he needs. He's pretty uninterested in our small child. Toddlers make him nervous but he just runs away from them. He comes out for attention when strangers are around. He gets ulcers on his lips now and again, but they go away on their own when kept clean. He's been to the vet a few times for skin allergies and we're still working on helping him with that.

Our sweet boy Larry is 12 years old and we found him on the side of the highway in the summer of 2012. He was only a couple weeks old and had burnt paws from the pavement and looked like he has some facial wounds. He grew up with our dog Penny who unfortunately passed away 2 years ago. They were best buds and they got along great because that's who he was raised with. Since her passing, we had our first baby and shortly after got another puppy. Larry has not warmed up to either of them and he constantly hides from them and hisses when they get close. It's been 2 years now of trying to introduce them and make him feel comfortable but his quality of life has severely dropped, as he just hides all day and lives in the same room. We also have another baby on the way so unfortunately it's only going to get worse for him. We have honestly been dreading this decision but we think it's best for him to go to another home where he can lounge freely, soak up the sun rays, and play with his toys.
