Story
This Purrrr machine is about 2 or 3 years old, we are not exactly sure. He is the definition of a loving cat, he will rub up against you, request pets, meow when he wants attention. He got his first round of tests/vaccines (leukemia, AIDS, and distemper, de-wormer, rabies) and was neutered by Peaceable Kingdom in the Lehigh valley. The reason I am rehoming is because he was supposed to just be fostered and that fell through, and I am not able to take care of so many fosters at the same time. No known medical issues, and his behavior is typically excellent. Great with kids and other cats, but we do not have dogs so that is unknown. All in all, he is a great cat. Sad to let him go but he will do well, I am sure of it.

Story
Dusty came to our backyard in November and stuck around. We let her come inside on very cold days, but otherwise she is comfortable outside, too. She needs a more permanent home! She is very sweet and well behaved in the home. I wrote that she is a Tabby but I Don't really know exactly what breed she is. She is a Torty!

Story
Smudge and Stan were rescued last fall with their mother and 3 other brothers. All have found a home except for these two boys and they've developed a closeness being the last ones of their family left waiting for a home of their own. However long they wait, we know this pair will bring a lot of joy to the family lucky enough to adopt them! Smudge is a white short hair with a gray smudge of fur down the back of his head. Stan is a gray tabby. Of the pair, he's the confidant brother. He will explore things first, while Stan will wait until he knows Smudge thinks it's all safe. Despite Stan being shyer, once he knows all is well, he is a sweet boy like his brother Smudge. He just needs a little more patience at first and to give Smudge the opportunity to check out new people and surroundings first. Both boys are super playful and have lots of energy for chasing all kinds of toys around their foster home and tussling with each other. Both would do well in a home with other cats or as the only pair. Smudge and Stan are 5 months old (as of 1/2025), neutered, up to date with yearly vaccinations and negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV. To meet the brothers Smudge and Stan, please send an email to Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com.

Milo is a good cat. Playful. He doesn’t cuddle with us but does chill on the couch with us. He was born in May 2020. Neutered. Up to date on his shots. He’s an indoor/ outdoor cat that always comes home. But he’s peeing on everything now-never used to ever! Pretty sure our toddler is stressing him out. He’s peeing on my son’s toys which is not okay.

Story
Snuggles, (aka Wittle, because she was so little when we rescued her), also known as Baby Girl (which she loves), came to us while nursing kittens. At the time she was only approx, 7 months old. She found shelter in a fox or groundhog den in the ground under boulders in the woods and would go there after eating. When she finally let us trap her, she was finishing nursing kittens according to the vet, and it became apparent that the kittens drowned during the torrential rainstorms here in New Jersey in July, 2023. We had her spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, she did not have ear mites or fleas, and she is microchipped. Snuggles LOVES to be cuddled in her cat bed and kissed all over and even gives us her belly! She is cross-eyed and does not seem to jump high, but otherwise does not seem to have any visual impairments. She loves the laser light, and for us to dangle ropes and make them move on the ground like they are snakes. Snuggles is elusive but when she gets to know you, she just wants to sit on your lap and snuggle. She currently lives most of the day in her cage because she does not like other cats, therefore she should be the only cat in the home. She comes up to you for petting and fusses when you pick her up but then settles quickly. She is a quiet, calm cat who loves to search for mice and is extremely gentle. Snuggles would be a great kitty to snuggle in a bed with a person and would be a good kitty for someone who works from home or is home most of the day. She is gentle and would be fine with a responsible child but we must give her time to get used to being held. If you are interested in Snuggles, please contact Communities Altering The Strays (CATS), 908-453-0082. Thank you!

Story
Frankie is a charmer! Only 5 years old and 16 lbs of muscle! Frankie is an affectionate love-bug and he will adore you! He is extremely affectionate, loves to be picked up and held like a baby. He will fall asleep in your lap and will probably want to be your bed partner! He loves kisses and belly rubs and is great with the litter box. He is neutered, vaccinated, FELV negative, ears cleaned, no fleas, was dewormed, and also microchipped. Because Frankie loves a good deal of attention, we feel he should be the only cat in the home. He seems to be nervous around other cats as he must have been tormented by other cats when he was abandoned. If you would like to learn more about this super handsome guy, please call 908-453-0082 Communities Altering The Strays (CATS) You can also watch his video on our Facebook page.

Story
Meet kitty Armondo!!!  He and his litter mates did not have the best start in life.  Their mom was a member of a feral cat colony that lived in a ravine.  People were very concerned about the little family and were finally able to trap them all.  Mom was feral.  The babies were scared but nice.  It just took a little while for them to understand that people are nice and are trying to help them.  Mom was spayed and released and the babies went to a loving foster home.  They have now all been totally vetted and are ready for their forever homes.  Armondo is a sweet but shy 12 week old kitten.  He loves to play with his siblings Leo and Amschel.  They have the biggest time running and playing.  Armondo is a polydactyl/Hemmingway kitten.  He is unique in that he has 5 toes.  It looks like he has hands.  This sweet boy is a very good boy.  It took no time at all to litter box train him.  He would love to have a home with one of his brothers.  If not though he definitely needs a home with another kitten or young cat.  He has been through too much to not have a companion.  Armondo is a special boy with the tiniest of meows.  He will be an excellent companion and addition to your family.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Armondo is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)      November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Hi my name is Ricky Ricardo!  I am an 11 month old young man whose first 8 months were horrific.  I was born on the property of an oil company and lived in the pallets on the property with my brothers.  We were all part of a feral cat colony.  These nice ladies learned about our situation and decided they had to help us.  They started feeding us and then put these long narrow cages out with the most yummy food inside.  I could not resist and in I went.  Well guess what???  I could not get out.  That was very scary.  Then they took me to this building and left me.  That was the vet.  They were actually taking care of me!  That was first for sure.  Miss Becca stepped up to foster me and has helped me to adjust to INSIDE life as a pet.  I love it and have adjusted very well.  I get great food every day and it is never too hot or too cold.  I get along great with the other 5 cats here and am good with her young boys.  I do have a special friend who still needs a little help adjusting.  I call her my Lucy!!  Her name is actually Ruby.  We run and play and have the best time together.  If we get into any mischief it is always her fault.  (Not really but that goes with the story.)    She was found as a stray and just joined our group because Miss Becca could not say no.  If you are considering adding two kittens to your family then we are the ones for you.  I had all my vetting in September and Ruby finished her vetting on 12/14/23. We are now ready for the journey to our forever home.  To be considered for your family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (We are currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)December 23, 2024, 12:05 pm
