Story
Kittens were born to a wonderful mom, Marley. Not to be biased, but Marley has been and still is the best cat we've ever had. These four kittens have more energy than we can handle. With our busy lives, I am afraid we are going to fall short of providing the care they deserve.

Story
Are you looking for a home office buddy? Finn is your boy. Finn is an affectionate, gentle, and sensitive 2-3 year old kitty. He was adopted into a home when he was a kitten and later after he was an adult cat, the family adopted a puppy. Finn was not happy living with a barking, boisterous puppy. The family put Finn outside and he just stopped going home. A neighbor took care of him and eventually he was returned to us for rehoming. Finn is a super sweet boy who will make a wonderful companion kitty in the right environment. He needs a quiet home--no dogs--he doesn't seem to be too bothered by other mellow cats. Finn would be ideal in the home of a senior or a person who works from home as he likes to be around for pets and attention. See photo of Finn sitting on our desk--he could be your desk mascot, too. Finn has been flea treated, dewormed, neutered, fully vaccinated and micro chipped. If you'd like more information or to meet this sweet boy, text or call 503-586-6176.

Story
The name Mikka means “who is like God?” Mikka, may or may not think she is God, but she does think that she is gorgeous classic Tabby. Don't you love her striking black and gray swirls. Mikka was born approximate 06/2022. She came to us wth kittens. This young mother was very protective of her kittens. Once she was spayed, she is much happier and not quite as sassy. Mikka does not tolerate dogs She does great with other cats, but would need a slow introduction. She does have a Tortiefoster sister, Georgia, who she loves napping with. Mikka does like to play. Mostly she like surveying her kingdom from the sofa. Mikka would make a great companion for you. I don't think she would be a good match for bouncy children. -$100 adoption fee. Mikka has been neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and tested negative for FIV and Felv. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The $100 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.

Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Story
Morgan is 13 years young and is quite playful. He was raised by an older gentleman who had to go to a memory Care facility. A recent vet visit showed that Morgan has a hyperthyroid issue which requires medication which he takes twice daily in his wet food without any problems. He requires some dental work which has been scheduled. Morgan has been very consistent with using his litter box and does not spray. The adopter should be willing to keep Morgan indoors.

Story
We're failing in health and need to move into a retirement home. Lillie Belle is a suburban indoor-outdoor cat and would not fit into the confined living arrangement. She patrols her domain (our yard and the next neighbors), but stays close to home. When not on patrol she will come into the house, sit on her perch a while to look out the window, then come back in at night. We adopted her from Safe Haven humane Tangent when she was1.5 years old and is now 6.5+ years old. She was a stray before she came to Safe Haven and though she was wary and reacted to sudden moves or loud noise she bonded to us quickly. She acted more like she was abandoned than being feral. Over the time we've had her she has become more comfortable around other people. She likes to be near people, not alone. She's affectionate and loyal, but not a "lap cat" who will sit while being petted for very long. She cuddles a while when I'm in bed at night before curling up at my feet. We love her.

Story
Sterling also has a sister named Piper that she would prefer to stay with as a bonded pair. They would prefer to be the only pets in a household but might be ok with another small dog or cat depending on their personality. They are indoor outdoor, litter box trained. These two are friendly and cuddly, smart and easy to care for. They enjoy attention, wet food, and treats regularly. They enjoy climbing trees and hunting mice outside, but also are litter box trained. They are strays that we found as kittens and are 1 year old now and ready for their forever homes. They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and been treated with flea drops and dewormer the past month. We would appreciate a small rehoming fee, and are willing to include their cat tree and other toys and supplies.
