Story
We got him when he was nine weeks old and we named him Oreo a friend of my sister gave him to us but we feel that he does not get all the love and attention he deserves. He is really sweet but can be a bit aggressive if he feels threaten hes an outside cat but if possible we would want him to be made into an indoor cat because he has gotten sick from and has gotten viruses from being outside. And honestly we have no idea what breed he is we just chose a breed because you have to chose an option or else it doesn’t let you move on

Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 2-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. I've got a heart full of love to share. I'm a sweet, friendly fellow with a sprinkle of curiosity. I'm smart, too, figuring out things quicker than most. I'm also a cuddly snuggler who loves a good lap to curl up on. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm also independent, so I won't mind if you're busy sometimes. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me?

Story
She was found in our yard a year ago. It takes her a little while to get comfortable with new people. She would like to be an only pet with no children. We believe her previous owner may have been rough with her because she is timid about being petted. She has not bit or scratched anyone. She purrs when I sit in the room with her and she will cuddle with me if l lay down for a nap. She loves to play with the worm on a pole and string toy, will send with her. She is a sweet cat that needs someone/s who can spend time with her.

Story
Dash is an adorable blue-eyed siamese-tabby cross with a tuxedo cat mixed in somewhere along the line. He is affectionate and very playful— never met a cat who likes to play so much. I had to move from a home where he was mainly an indoor cat but had the run of a yard. Now he is confined and misses his periods outside. He is used to having the best of both worlds. I think he might do ok with a kitten or possibly another cat for company, but would be happiest if he could spend some time outdoors , even in a small enclosed area, but still mainly be a house cat.

Story
From the moment we met this little girl we knew she was probably one of the sweetest cats. She is about a year old, she came to the shelter when a good citizen found her and her babies in a box when the babies were just weeks old. The person fostered her and her babies and they are now ready to be adopted. This girl has been well socialized, lived with other cats and with a dog. She is an amazing girl and the family that she chooses will be so lucky. We think she is about 1.5 years old. If you are interested in meeting this girl please don't hesitate to emai adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an adoption application. Once you have an approved applicaiton on file we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet. Her adoption fee is $175.00that includes her being current on her vaccinations, treated for fleas, treated for worms spayed and microchipped. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 28, 2025, 5:37 am
