Story
Bella found her way into the garage of one of our volunteers at around 5 weeks old. She is a vocal gal who loves to yell for attention and snuggles. She's playful, enjoys chasing and wrestling with her foster kitty friends. She loves kisses and cuddles and sleeping in your arms and is always purring. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
DOB: June 30, 2025 Marc is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Marc is a very affectionate with a huge heart and a purr to match. This sweet boy loves to curl up on laps for cuddles, and he has an adorable habit of burying his face in your hands when he’s especially content. No matter the time of day, Marc is always ready for snuggles and will happily pause his playtime for a dose of human affection. At the adoption centre, Marc has made plenty of kitten friends and has been a wonderful role model to his sister, Marine. He’s a curious explorer who loves chasing wand toys, discovering new corners, and bouncing around with his boundless energy. He’s also a very enthusiastic eater! Marc would love to be adopted with his sister Marine or another playmate, or join a home that already has a friendly and playful resident cat—he thrives with feline (as well as human) companionship. If you're looking for an affectionate, lovable, playful companion, Marc may be the perfect match for you.

Story
DOB: June 30, 2025 Marine is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Marine is a sweet, gentle 5-month-old brown-and-white tabby with a curious heart and a love for exploring. She arrived at the adoption centre with her brother, Marc, who has been her devoted guide and role model. At first, Marine was a little shy and overwhelmed by her new surroundings, preferring to watch the fun from a safe spot. But her curiosity soon got the better of her, as she now eagerly reaches for wand toys from her perch on the cat tree and sometimes joins other kittens to explore new corners and discover interesting toys. Marine is learning to trust new people, and once she’s scooped into gentle arms, she melts in and purrs with contentment. She may take a little time to feel completely safe in new places, but her playful, affectionate nature shines through. Marine would thrive in a home with her brother or another confident, friendly cat to show her the ropes. Marine is ready to discover the love, comfort, and adventure that come with a forever family.

Story
5 Years old Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Toby is a very cute cat who loves to lounge in the sun. He takes time to open up to new households and new people but once he does he is very affectionate. He loves to knock around and play with fast moving targets, especially a paper ball. He doesn't like being handled or picked up too much, he much prefers to be handled on his own terms. Most of his day is spent sleeping, grooming and chasing around paper balls. He also inexplicably loves to rub himself on the hallway rug. As to his behaviour with others, not sure if he is good with children and other cats or dogs since he has only always lived in a one person, no pets household his entire life. He warms up to others after some initial trepidation, but once he does, he is a gem. He has lived in apartments but loves to walk out in the hallway and explore. He is litter trained and is used to apartment living. Has a bit of separation anxiety in that he becomes very clingy once you are back from a trip. Tends to eventually follow you into whichever room in the house you are currently situated in and curl up there. Toby is up-to-date on vaccines. Toby is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service.
