Story
5 Years old Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Toby is a very cute cat who loves to lounge in the sun. He takes time to open up to new households and new people but once he does he is very affectionate. He loves to knock around and play with fast moving targets, especially a paper ball. He doesn't like being handled or picked up too much, he much prefers to be handled on his own terms. Most of his day is spent sleeping, grooming and chasing around paper balls. He also inexplicably loves to rub himself on the hallway rug. As to his behaviour with others, not sure if he is good with children and other cats or dogs since he has only always lived in a one person, no pets household his entire life. He warms up to others after some initial trepidation, but once he does, he is a gem. He has lived in apartments but loves to walk out in the hallway and explore. He is litter trained and is used to apartment living. Has a bit of separation anxiety in that he becomes very clingy once you are back from a trip. Tends to eventually follow you into whichever room in the house you are currently situated in and curl up there. Toby is up-to-date on vaccines. Toby is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Muhammad Daniyal Ali, via email at daniyal.ali96@hotmail.com or WhatsApp: 647-705-9986 - Thank you!

Story
After exhausting all options, we unfortunately need to rehome our two cats. Yondu is a white/grey tabby, who is very personable and friendly. Loves belly rubs and total lap cat. Wally is dark tabby, who relies on his brother for confidence. More likely to hide at first, but once he has settled in, will come out for some rubs and head bumps. Both have been indoor and both spayed.

Story
Bella found her way into the garage of one of our volunteers at around 5 weeks old. She is a vocal gal who loves to yell for attention and snuggles. She's playful, enjoys chasing and wrestling with her foster kitty friends. She loves kisses and cuddles and sleeping in your arms and is always purring. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
Meet Crème Brûlée AGE AT ARRIVAL: Approximately 7-8 years old ARRIVAL DATE: September 24th, 2025 GENDER: Spayed Female LOCATION: Hamilton, Ontario ADOPTION FEE: $200 NOTES: Crème Brûlée is a sweet, petite kitty who was brought in to Hamilton Animal Services as a ‘stray’. When no one came to claim this beautiful girl, Ladybird was happy to help get her out of shelter and into a loving foster home. So far, she has been settling in well and is obsessed with looking out the big window in her foster room. She loves making biscuits when she gets pets. Crème Brûlée did great for her dental and spay surgery, and now that she’s all healed up, Crème Brûlée is ready for her forever home! Here’s a note from Crème Brûlée’s foster mom: “Crème Brûlée is an adorable little tortie with lots of love to give and just a splash of tortietude! When she arrived in foster she immediately showed her loving side by doling out headbutts and making biscuits, but she was a bit shy about leaving her safe spot on the window sill and didn’t want to eat much. Now that she’s settled in and has had her spay and dental, she’s a totally new cat! She’s playful, finishes her plate at every meal, and hardly ever gives us the ‘tude anymore (she will occasionally decide she’s done with being patted and give you a little hiss and swat, no claws out though). CB’s favourite toy is the dancer wand and her favourite move is to leap out at the dancer toy, give it a drive-by swat, then run off! CB has met our dog and while she isn’t afraid of the dog, she also doesn’t seek her out. She would likely do fine living with a neutral dog since she seems happy to “live and let live”. She hasn’t met our cats yet but is politely interested through a cracked door so she’d likely get along fine with another calm, older cat.” Please adopt Crème Brûlée! ❤️ Visit our website to apply: https://www.ladybirdanimalsanctuary.com/las1824/

Story
Meet Bozo!! (case #01-14-OTC-02A) Meet Eddie and Bozo, the sweetest, most lovable pair of chubby feline brothers you’ll ever meet! These two handsome 3-year-olds are as adorable as they come, with their soft, round bodies and loving personalities. Unfortunately, their senior owner was no longer able to care for them, and after a lot of changes to their routine, these boys have stayed remarkably patient and friendly. They are true examples of resilience, always ready to greet you with open paws and eager eyes, waiting for the next round of affection and playtime. Eddie and Bozo have a special bond that has only grown stronger over time, and they’ve never been apart—so they must be adopted together. They’re a true package deal, and lucky for you, they come with a guarantee of double the love and double the fun! One of their favorite things in the world? Catnip! Watch as these two dive into their favorite herb, rolling, rubbing, and rolling some more until they’re covered in the aromatic goodness, looking like two perfectly content little furballs. They absolutely adore the attention, and their love for catnip only adds to their charm! Eddie and Bozo are looking for a home where they can continue to be spoiled with affection, attention, and plenty of playtime. They may be a little set in their ways, but their love and devotion are unwavering. If you’re looking for a pair of adorable, easygoing kitties to join your family, Eddie and Bozo are ready to steal your heart and make every day just a little bit brighter.
