Story
Bella found her way into the garage of one of our volunteers at around 5 weeks old. She is a vocal gal who loves to yell for attention and snuggles. She's playful, enjoys chasing and wrestling with her foster kitty friends. She loves kisses and cuddles and sleeping in your arms and is always purring. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
DOB: June 2, 2025 Leonnie is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Leonnie is a bundle of energy and curiosity. From the moment she enters a room, she jumps right into the swing of things, happily playing with the other kittens at the adoption centre and eagerly exploring everything around her. She’s an active, adventurous girl who loves interactive play, especially with her favourite bird wand toy. Leonnie also enjoys being petted and never turns down a tasty treat. With her playful spirit and sweet, affectionate side, she’ll thrive in a home that can keep up with her energy and provide plenty of love, toys, and attention. She would love to be adopted alongside her brother Leo or with another playful kitten friend to keep her company. If you’re looking for a fun, lively kitten to brighten your days, sweet Leonnie is waiting for you!

Story
DOB: June 2, 2025 Leo is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Leo is a gentle, quiet young kitten with a sweet and thoughtful nature. He and his sister, Leonnie, made the long journey from rural Quebec to Toronto in search of a loving forever home. Leo can be a little shy in new environments, especially when his sister isn’t nearby, but with patience, love, and a few tasty treats or fun toys, he quickly begins to feel safe. Once he’s comfortable, his playful personality and curious spirit shine through. He enjoys batting around small balls, springs, and tiny mouse toys, whether on his own or with other kittens. Leo is learning the ropes of kitten life and is doing well using cat scratchers and cat trees for his growing claws. He has excellent litter box habits and is currently thriving on Science Diet kitten dry and wet food. Because he gains confidence from feline companionship, Leo would love to be adopted with his sister Leonnie, another kitten, or into a home with a friendly resident cat who can help him continue to build social skills and confidence. Leo is a smart little boy with so much potential. Come meet him at the adoption centre—you just might fall in love.

Story
5 Years old Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Toby is a very cute cat who loves to lounge in the sun. He takes time to open up to new households and new people but once he does he is very affectionate. He loves to knock around and play with fast moving targets, especially a paper ball. He doesn't like being handled or picked up too much, he much prefers to be handled on his own terms. Most of his day is spent sleeping, grooming and chasing around paper balls. He also inexplicably loves to rub himself on the hallway rug. As to his behaviour with others, not sure if he is good with children and other cats or dogs since he has only always lived in a one person, no pets household his entire life. He warms up to others after some initial trepidation, but once he does, he is a gem. He has lived in apartments but loves to walk out in the hallway and explore. He is litter trained and is used to apartment living. Has a bit of separation anxiety in that he becomes very clingy once you are back from a trip. Tends to eventually follow you into whichever room in the house you are currently situated in and curl up there. Toby is up-to-date on vaccines. Toby is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Muhammad Daniyal Ali, via email at daniyal.ali96@hotmail.com or WhatsApp: 647-705-9986 - Thank you!

Story
After exhausting all options, we unfortunately need to rehome our two cats. Yondu is a white/grey tabby, who is very personable and friendly. Loves belly rubs and total lap cat. Wally is dark tabby, who relies on his brother for confidence. More likely to hide at first, but once he has settled in, will come out for some rubs and head bumps. Both have been indoor and both spayed.
