Story
Hi there future family! My name is Jasmine and I am a fabulous 4-month-old, 6lb female Tabby Retriever. Wait, what's that? You've never heard of my breed? Well, that’s because I’m as one-of-a-kind as they come! Yes, you read that right—I’m a girl AND an orange Tabby Retriever. Now, I can hear the skeptics out there rolling their eyes, insisting I'm a cat. But honestly, what even is a cat? Sounds like a mythical creature to me! All I know is I’m ready to charm my way into your heart, one adorable wag at a time! You see, I found myself in the rather unfortunate position of being a solo act. But luck smiled upon me when I discovered this cozy little house where I could blend in and hide like the world’s fluffiest ninja. Soon, a few of my now doggie pals came to check on me, and it dawned on me: I was one of them! Finally, fellow furballs who walked on four paws and didn’t have any intention of turning me into a chew toy! We became the best of buddies, darting around and rolling in the grass like we were auditioning for the next big dog park blockbuster. But then, things took a turn for the dramatic—cue the suspenseful music—the two-legged creatures found me! Talk about a plot twist! I had no idea how to handle these towering giants, so I employed my finest stealth maneuvers, attempting to avoid them like they were the vet in disguise. However, they had a secret weapon: food. They kept offering me treats and showering me with sweet, encouraging words, which, let me tell you, are hard to resist. After a couple of weeks of playing hard to get, I finally decided maybe they weren't so bad after all. I let them catch me, and that, my friends, was when the real adventure began! I found myself in a house for the first time, and let me tell you, it was a whole new world! I was a bit like a deer in headlights at first—wide-eyed and wondering what on earth I had gotten myself into. But thanks to my furry pals, I started to find my footing. And then there were these mysterious creatures called "cats." They’re not too shabby and I don't mind hanging out with them, but I still prefer my doggie buddies and, of course, my humans! Now, let me share a little secret: the couch? Pure magic! I’ve claimed it as my throne, and I might just be the next royal ruler of comfort. Plus, I’ve developed a knack for climbing to the highest spots in my foster home. You know, just doing my best impression of a feline mountaineer! My humans give me the most amusing looks when I do, but hey, a pup’s gotta keep an eye on the kingdom! When I'm not busy surveying my domain, you can find me indulging in all kinds of playful antics. I'm a curious little mischief-maker, brimming with cuddles and ready for adventure. So, if you're looking for a bundle of joy with a hint of cheekiness, I’m your kitten! I’ve been mastering the art of litterbox training since day one, can elegantly navigate an indoor cat door, and have effortlessly located my food and water stations—call me the feline equivalent of a Swiss Army knife! I’d say I’ve adjusted to my new life with the grace of a catwalk model, and now the only thing left on my checklist is to find my forever family. I know I might be a bit of a rare gem, so if you’re thinking of adopting me, please ensure you’re ready to make me your “forever cat.” Life changes—job shifts, new partners, relocations, even a new baby—are all part of the adventure, but I can’t bear the thought of giving my heart completely to someone only to discover I’m just their “until cat.” Let's make it a lifelong commitment, shall we? 🐾💖 Until we meet, Jasmine. 💖 📍 Pickup In Kiowa, OK
