Story
When Jackson came to his current foster he had been bullied by other cats. He was scared, unsure of who he could trust, but only 5 days after arriving at his new foster's home, he was already purring and rolling over for belly rubs! Jackson keeps growing more and more confident and comfortable every day as he learns he can trust this new place. Now sweet Jackson climbs into his foster's lap for snuggles (with other kitties even!) happily dashes all over the house then rolls around on the carpet in the hallway, eyes half closed with a happy grin on his face! His foster says he's totally talkative too, getting their attention and chatting with them in his cute, high-pitched mew.... It's so cute, they sometimes call him squeaky! Our vet estimates Jackson to be just over a year old. Included with the adoption is his neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Story
Turner is a love! He and his sister Tina had a rough start to life, and little Turner was born without his left front paw. That doesn't stop him from having a good time, though! This sweet little boy is ready to play, and would love to check out the kitty toys at YOUR house! Included with the adoption is Turner's neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household. Story
Sweet San Diego loves to play. Wand toys are so fun!! He's a good boy with a heart of gold. Diego does well with the younger fosters in his current home, even helping teach them how to groom themselves, and providing happy snuggles. Diego's sister is little miss Santa Anita. Wanna chase a toy mouse around? She sure does! A quiet girl, Santa Anita is very kitty-focused and relies on her brother for comfort and confidence, so for their health and happiness this sweet pair must be adopted together. Anita and Diego are both super friendly, super sweet, super loving, and easy going with other animals. They both have especially sweet, expressive faces. They love to sleep with their foster parents and keep their foster mommy company while she reads. They love to play with toys and chase each other and wrestle happily. If it gets to rough, Anita shrieks like banshee, but then Diego calms down and all is well again. :) (Pictured, San Diego is the darker tabby and Santa Anita is the lighter torbie.) Included with the adoption are the kitties' spay/neuter, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. Story
Olivia Octavius is a sweet and spunky little Torbie girl! She’s very curious and busy, has to be involved, loves to explore! She seeks out affection, but isn’t crazy about being held. Instead, she will jump into your lap or lay next to you for petting. She wants all the love, on HER terms. She doesn’t mind cats and dogs. She doesn’t try to play with the other cats, so she isn’t a playmate and doesn’t need a playmate. Included with the adoption is Olivia's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. Story
What a little love! Kona is super sweet and loves to curl her tail around your arm if you hold her. She’s really playful, and very independent. She will let you know when she’s ready to snuggle, but doesn’t mind being held. She does well with dogs, and is fine with most cats (as long as they don't try to wrestle with her!) Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. Story
Vengeance is a special boy looking for a special home! Vengeance is a special needs cat who will need an understanding adopter. You see, Vengeance is affectionately called “Booger Boy” He gets these sneezing fits and sneezes lots of snot and boogers. He is a cat that will require routine antibiotics when his sneezing gets too bad. Unfortunately, the symptoms will never fully go away... we had hoped his sneezing was temporary and his first round of antibiotics would take care of it, but unfortunately that wasn't meant to be.. poor Vengeance has been dealing with this since he was a tiny kitten, but even a booger boy deserves a great, loving home!!! Vengeance LOVES other cats! He loves to cuddle up with them and play. He is very much an affectionate lap kitty. If interested in meeting or adopting Vengeance, please apply at Bluesmews.org

Hello there, I'm Ginger, a sweet, gentle kitten. My sister Gypsy and I are a bit shy, but we're learning to trust more each day. We love to play with our feather toys, and we're experts at hide-and-seek. We're both very good listeners, and we'll purr softly when you tell us about your day. I'm playful, curious, and sweet. I promise, if you adopt me, I'll bring a lot of love and joy to your home.Note from Paws humans: To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt

Story
Hello, I'm Mona. Life's an adventure with my brother, Miles, by my side. We're a team, exploring every nook and cranny, chasing shadows, and playing hide and seek. He's my partner in mischief, my confidante in quiet moments. We share secrets, whispered in soft purrs and gentle headbutts. Our days are filled with playful pounces and warm naps. We're a pair, you see, two halves of a whole. We're looking for a forever home, one filled with love and laughter, where we can bring joy, companionship, and a little bit of our playful spirit.Note from Paws humans: To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.
