Story
Chestnaught does have 2 siblings, Cotton and Deathstroke. We have attempted to rehome them separately once and they starved themselves, so we think it's best they all stay together if possible. Chestnaught was born September 13, 2017. Chestnaught is very lovey and loves staying nearby people and cuddling. He loves to eat grass, but must be indoors. All the cats do get along with children, however they would do best in a household with older children. They tend to keep their distance from young children that are more hyper.

Story
I found Kiwi outside of my workplace, one cold morning in October of 2022. She was no more than 8 weeks old and needed help, so I scooped her up and got her a box with some kitten food. I was originally only going to foster because I already had 4 cats of my own but I fell for her kitten charms. She fit in very well at first and the boys loved her and accepted her right away. As time went on, I started noticing she was becoming more reserved and anxious. My own personal life has been getting increasingly busy and I have not been able to put in the time with her to help her. Having a background in rescue, I have come to the saddening decision that I cannot give her what she needs. I think she needs a home where she gets more attention than what I can give. She is also polydactyl and needs some special attention when it comes to her spare claw (so that it does not grow into her paw). I hope I can find her a loving home where she can thrive and live a stress-free life!

Story
On the rehoming reason "does not get along with other pet" It was my only choice and not the reason for rehoming. Rosco is a very loveable cat. He will come to when you call his name out or shake his jar of treats. He loves to snuggle and get his belly rubs. He will follow you around the house like he is your shadow curious about everything you are doing. He does try to play with our beagles, but does shy away from them when they get rambunctious and start their zoomies. We do have another cat, they get along for the most part, when Rosco gets aggressive towards our other cat the dogs step in and protect the other cat.

Elegant Elope! This playful and silly kitten (DOB 4/2024) is searching for a forever home. She loves playing with other cats and would do best in a home with another cat. She can be shy when first meeting new people but warms up quickly. She is living in a foster home with other cats and has been exposed to dogs. With proper introductions she could learn to enjoy their company. She is spayed, micro-chipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, vaccinated, and wormed. Her adoption fee is just $100 dollars. Story
Meet Suzanna! Suzanna is a sweet and loving short-haired torbi who has come a long way in learning to trust people. While she was initially a bit timid, she's now much more confident and enjoys receiving pets and affection from our volunteers. Head scratches are her favorite, and she'll often approach us for love. She can still be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily soak up the attention. Suzanna and her best friend, Hope, are inseparable, and we’d love for them to be adopted together. It would break our hearts to separate them! Kitty Lil is also part of their trio, with Hope being the common thread everyone loves. If all three could find a forever home together, we’d be absolutely thrilled. Suzanna is a female torbi, born on 3/19/2023. She is negative for feline leukemia/FIV, has received all of her kitten vaccines, her 1-year rabies vaccine, and has been spayed. She’s also been fecal tested, wormed, and treated for fleas. Suzanna would do well in a quiet home with a patient adopter who can give her time to continue building trust. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a playful side, Suzanna could be the perfect fit for your family! To adopt Suzanna (and hopefully Hope, too!), please complete our adoption application. Beau was brought to us by a kind community member when he was about 9 months old. They had been caring for him until a kennel became available. Beau has since settled into shelter life and is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him. He enjoys strutting around the cat room, checking everything and everyone out. While he adores receiving attention, he prefers to keep his feet on the ground. Beau will make a loving and sweet companion for a family.
