Gizmo is an emergency foster with his one-year old bonded brother named Gunnar. They have been to the vet for a complete check up, had their rabies shot, and are heartworm, FIV, and feline leukemia negative. Gizmo will be fixed on 3/27 at Humane Ohio - appointment set and paid for. We would love for the boys to be adopted together if possible.

Gunnar was rescued with his bonded brother. He has been to the vet; is negative for FIV, Feline Luekemia, and heart worm; been fixed, and is getting a dental treatment next week. He is very good boy and may be better with cats. He or his brother scratched a kitten, but they were in a very tramatic situation.

I found Kiwi outside of my workplace, one cold morning in October of 2022. She was no more than 8 weeks old and needed help, so I scooped her up and got her a box with some kitten food. I was originally only going to foster because I already had 4 cats of my own but I fell for her kitten charms. She fit in very well at first and the boys loved her and accepted her right away. As time went on, I started noticing she was becoming more reserved and anxious. My own personal life has been getting increasingly busy and I have not been able to put in the time with her to help her. Having a background in rescue, I have come to the saddening decision that I cannot give her what she needs. I think she needs a home where she gets more attention than what I can give. She is also polydactyl and needs some special attention when it comes to her spare claw (so that it does not grow into her paw). I hope I can find her a loving home where she can thrive and live a stress-free life!

Izzy was found outside as a kitten, dumped, and she was saved by a nice neighbor who brought her in, she thought she could keep her. But her older cat would not let her settle in there and they fight. Although she hates to give her up, her old cat isn't going to accept her so we need to find her a home. Boo, Butters and Nala are siblings. They live with their mother Chevron also. Their owner is a older woman and is moving and can't take them with them. Handsome has had quite a rough few years. He had a very bonded brother, a orange brother, they were inseparable. They belonged to a man who was living here from Spain. After the pandemic, instead of returning them to me because he didn't keep up their shots, he couldn't take them to Spain, so he opened the door and just let them go. About a year later I got a cat from the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic who said someone had just brought in the brother, they knew it was him from the microchip number, registered to me. They called me and within a half hour I was on my way to pick him up. Once I got there, the office manager had GIVEN him to a client of theirs in the waiting room. She knew I was on my way. I asked for the information of the person they gave him to, she wouldn't give me the info. I reported the clinic to the police, they could not get the info either. One Oct 26th of this year, I got a call from a man in South Lyon who had found Handsome, the brother on his door step. He had been there for a week so he brought him in to the vet and found the chip number and they called me. Handsome was alone on the run since Jan of 2022 without his brother. He is a big beautiful and very affectionate boy. Thank God we got him back and he was safe. He's alone now and very loving and affectionate. He is enjoying being spoiled and loved on. He showed up in the middle of nowhere with miles of farm land all around. He's been through a lot, he's a big snuggly boy. We are looking for a home for him where he can be the spoiled boy he longs to be. He could be alright with a dog. We are looking for a non smoking home for him, a indoor only home. Hi! I’m Miss Kitty! I’m a very vocal cat who loves to sun bathe and look out the window. I’m very shy at first but once I warm up to you, I want nothing but love and affection. I would do best in a home with no other cats but dogs are good with me!! I love getting brushed and pampered. I don’t mind getting picked up and held like a baby. Children are good with me too!
