Meet Skippy ❤️ Tabby mix, born 6/13/24, male, 4lbs Skippy had a rough start in life. He was found at a very young age, abandoned in a parking lot. If that wasn’t bad enough, Skippy had a severely injured front leg. He had severe nerve damage that was beyond repair. Skippy is now a TRIPOD! He has fully recovered, and ready for his forever home. He is very sweet, playful, and adjusting to life on 3 legs. Skippy was isolated from other kitties while recovering, and is getting used to having playmates. He is expected to be 10-12lbs as an adult. Skippy is current on vaccines, combo tested negative, neutered, & microchipped. Story
His purr goes a mile a minute. His gorgeous big green eyes can be seen a mile away. And he goes the extra mile to be sweet. Of course, we’re talking about our boy Miles The Cat. This little tiger is super friendly to the people he loves, but a bit introverted in new situations. Young, playful, and funny, there is magic in his eyes and his eyes are on YOU!! Miles will do best in an active home where people want to play, snuggle, and hang together as much as he does. Miles is about 4 years old, neutered, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, and microchipped (with lifetime free registration) and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. Miles’ adoption fee is $125. We also offer two cats for $200. Story
The name Sabrina means “patience.” And for this kitten, Sabrina has had more patience than a baby cat should have. Sabrina was rescued from a yucky hoarding situation where she was patiently waiting for the best spot to rest, to be first in line for petting and healthy food, and a perch near a window to watch birds and dream. Certainly not too much to ask for. But Sabrina is shy about asking for things she dreams about and will need a bit of warm-up time in her forever home. Sabrina is super sweet, gentle, observant, and ready for lovin’ with you. Sabrina is about 7 months old, fully vet checked, spayed, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. XXCat’s adoption fee is $125. We also offer two cats for $200. Story
Smuckers came to us from the great outdoors, with a broken leg. After being in a cast for 6 weeks, the leg healed and Smuckers is now a running, jumping, playful little bundle of kitten cuteness. His foster mom says Smuckers is the “sweetest kitten ever!” Not only is Smuckers funny and lovable entertainment, but he is a cuddler and want to sit with you whenever you sit down. Smuckers has a small limp and his leg is a wee bit shorter. But that doesn’t stop him from being the entire kitten package. Because with a name like Smuckers, he has to be good! Smuckers is about 8 months old, neutered, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. Smuckers’ adoption fee is $125. We also offer two cats for $200. Story
I am a 3 yr old male, fully vetted. I was dumped with 3 of my siblings. I am shy but I play well with my foster siblings. I love to run and chase my favorite toys and I sleep in my foster moms bed. I spend a lot of my time lounging on my cat tree. I do not love to be held or chased. I need someone who will patient and caring with me to give me a good home. Preferably with other cats. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. Story
My name is Rusty but oftentimes my foster mom calls me Little Rusty. That's because I pretend to be a little baby when she holds me in her arms. I am around 7 months old. I was found outside in pitiful shape. I was very skeletal, severely dehydrated and one of my eyes had ruptured. Heck, I can't even see out of the eye that remains but you would never know it! It doesn't stop me though. I'm pretty fearless and love everyone and everything. I'm grateful that someone fought to save my life. I would love a wonderful home with one of my kitty companions or another FeLV positive cat that loves cats. It's important for you to know that have the feline leukemia virus (FeLV) in my system and I really shouldn't be around other cats that are considered "healthy." I can't promise you that the life that I will live will be a long one but it is my hope whether it's a few months or many years that I will have the life that my heart longs for. I dream that I will one day know love like other "healthy" cats do... that I will be able to play like a kid at Christmas time surrounded by lots of kitty toys... I want to enjoy every bite of my tasty food ...Oh that I can sit by a window, look out and see nature at its best... maybe even become friends with a squirrel, a chipmunk and possibly even a little tiny bird that peers in the window to look at ME...I have visions of being in a real home with lots of space that enables me to feel like I have my freedom instead of living life in one room with so many other cats that are infected with the same virus. My heart aches for my own human to touch my fur every single day as they love on me. Whispering lips saying "I love you" just before kissing the top of my head. I want to know what it means to be cherished every minute of every day that I have. When my body decides it's time to take that journey out of this life and cross the "Rainbow Bridge," that my very special human will know that they gave me a GIFT of life that I could have never received without them. I trust they will not feel sorrow in my passing, but TREMENDOUS JOY in knowing that they were chosen to love me, but even more than that - I was chosen to love them during my time with them. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Meet George and Nox! George is a male black and white kitty. Nox is a male orange and white kitty. Both are approximately 1 year old. These two handsome BFFs are bonded and love chasing each other and playing together constantly. Even though they came from two different areas, you would think that they were born brothers. George came in from Kentucky as part of a feral cat colony when he ended up struggling with botulism toxicity. Fortunately, we were able to push hard and save his life! Nox came from an area of Cincinnati as a small kitten and was very undernourished struggling with some upper respiratory issues and needed lots of TLC in order to get him on the right track. Once George gets to know you, he will absolutely love you. And he'll make sure that he gets the attention from you that he knows he deserves. Nox is more social and is a very tender-hearted super lover! These boys are ready to find their forever home together and they certainly deserve to have the best life possible. They've been in foster care much longer than we had originally hoped, so now is their time! We feel like these two will do best in a quiet home and would also do well with other cat loving cats All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application.
