Story
We adopted him from the Pet Smart in plain City Ohio. He can be little anxious but he is very affectionate with my wife and both of our daughters. He is generally docile. He and our other cat Harley get along really well and play together often. He is skittish around me and other men but not my 16 year olds son. He has been marking his territory and urinating outside of litter boxes recently. This behavior started when he had a major multiweek remodeling project done in Fall 2022 where as many as 8 men were working in our home. We also recently had two bathrooms remodeled so there were multiple people in our home again. We think this has accelerated his marking behaviors. We would like to find a home for him where he can play with other cats and bond with kids as he has in our home.

Story
Marbles is a year and three months young! Marbles is looking for a peaceful, relatively quiet house hold. She would do best with older kids. Marbles loves her quiet time but also loves her cuddles. She would do best in a home with another cat. Marbles is very playful. Her favorite activities include laser, wrestling with her littler sister, and loves feather toys. Marbles has acquired a deep connection to a Polly pocket doll that she carried around the house. It will need to go with her wherever she goes.

Story
Vincent is a male cat that was adopted as a stray kitten by my ex husband. He had Vincent for about15 years when he unexpectedly passed away. My daughter took Vincent in bc he had nowhere to go on such short notice. The problem is that my daughter will be moving back in with me (to Maryland) and I am allergic.

Story
Speedy is a beautiful brown & black tabby. He is a very affectionate cat that loves to spend time cuddling with his humans and will do best in a single cat household or maybe with a family. Speedy lost his home after my mom passed away and my father was no longer able to care for him. After some relocating, Speedy is now looking for his forever home with a loving family that can shower him with affection. He can be a bit shy at first, but he has a big heart that makes him attached to those around him. He is an athletic cat that loves to play. Some of his favorite toys are strings, rattling mice and catnip sticks. He loves eating Churu treats and recently discovered the joys of being a lap cat! He is turning four on March 26.

Story
This sweet girl just turned 6 at the beginning of April. She is in great health. Shes quirky, sweet, gentle, and stunning. Shes a lanky lady with a loveable personality. She loves being pet & not too demanding. She enjoys playing but can be shy around other animals. She has lived with dogs and other cats throughout the years and has never had issues. She typically avoids contact with the other animals, she prefers people. I am a huge cat lover and she has been the cat of my dreams. Shes never scratched furniture or people. Completely litter box trained and never known to have an accident. She does not go after human food but will occasionally inspect an open glass of water. She will tolerate a collar, but I choose to let her show off that lovely white fur of hers. This gal is a gem, so serious inquiries are appreciated. I have her adoption, chip, and vet records.

Story
My name is Paddie and I was born at a mechanics lot in Shawnee Hills, Ohio with my sibling. We were both adopted into different homes after being in foster care. I was in her previous home for approximately 4 years and started having litter box avoidance issues. It was also determined that I am high anxiety cat. I was prescribed medications to help with both issues, but it was reported that these meds weren’t successful in that home environment. Since I have been back at the Cozy Cat Cottage, I have had good behavior. I am very affectionate and I loves pets. I currently receive my Prozac via a transdermal cream. This cream is rubbed into my ear daily. I didn’t mind taking my pills if they were crushed and mixed into canned food, but I am a grazer, so I wasn’t getting my entire daily dose. I have gotten into a couple of squabbles here at the center, but at the end of the day I just want one on one attention. A large cat/animal family wouldn’t be the best fit for me, since I get anxious. I will make a great companion to someone. It is suggested that I stay on my medication. Luckily there are easy ways to medicate me! A quiet laid back lifestyle would suit me best. Please come and visit me to see if I would make your house a home.
