Smuckers came to us from the great outdoors, with a broken leg. After being in a cast for 6 weeks, the leg healed and Smuckers is now a running, jumping, playful little bundle of kitten cuteness. His foster mom says Smuckers is the “sweetest kitten ever!” Not only is Smuckers funny and lovable entertainment, but he is a cuddler and want to sit with you whenever you sit down. Smuckers has a small limp and his leg is a wee bit shorter. But that doesn’t stop him from being the entire kitten package. Because with a name like Smuckers, he has to be good! Meet Cash: The Million-Dollar Find! This charming fella was discovered alone, outside, but his sparkling personality is worth a fortune! Cash is a chatty, inquisitive, and super friendly cat who will invest his heart in you. Though his past owners have withdrawn from contact (his microchip numbers are out of service), Cash is ready to bank on a new, loving relationship with you! How did we choose the cutest name ever for this pretty girl? She was hiding in a haystack at a pumpkin patch with her kittens when we rescued this little family. Haystack is awfully grateful for being an indoor kitty. She is affectionate, happy, and quite charming. Here is what her foster family says about Haystack, "She is the most affectionate lap cat we've ever fostered!" And this family has fostered about a ga-zillion cats. Haystack does have opinions about other cats .. she doesn’t like them (silly girl) and she is quite glad that she won’t be having any more kittens. The name Sabrina means “patience.” And for this kitten, Sabrina has had more patience than a baby cat should have. Sabrina was rescued from a yucky hoarding situation where she was patiently waiting for the best spot to rest, to be first in line for petting and healthy food, and a perch near a window to watch birds and dream. Certainly not too much to ask for. But Sabrina is shy about asking for things she dreams about and will need a bit of warm-up time in her forever home. There are so many lovable things about Lilly. She is a little snuggle bug who loves to lie her head on your legs or your belly in bed. She gives a full-force purr when she is happy, which is all. the. time. Lilly is a killed bird watcher, no binoculars needed. She can spot a chippy sparrow out the window or on one of those marvelous YouTube bird videos. Lilly would be especially excited about running about with another young cat in the family or comparing notes about bird sightings with an equally amused feline friend. Rubeus loves pets, cuddles, and soaking up all the attention you can give. He enjoys playing with his favorite mouse toys and catnip, making him an entertaining companion. Rubeus, prefers to be the be the center of attention and would thrive as the only pet in the home, as other animals, especially dogs, stress him out. Red likes to play `hard-to-get` with potential adopters and staff. He is so fluffy and cute that it is impossible to not love him, however, he will make you work hard for his affection. While in foster care, Red took time to settle in to his new environment. Red did best when he had multiple places to hide in and feel safe (such as a cat bed or cat tree). He likes to sit next to his person, if he is feeling it, he may even let you pet him! We very much believe with a patient forever family, Red can learn to trust humans again. Meet Jasper! This handsome cat originally came from the sunny state of Florida. He made his way to SPCA Cincinnati when his previous shelter ran out of room and needed help. Jasper has endured a lot of stress while at the shelter, the environment does not suit his quiet and shy nature. He is searching for a forever home that can provide patience and love while he adjusts to his new home. Jasper`s most FAVORITE thing in the world is laying in enclosed cat beds. Jasper would do well in a household with children 12+ or with adults only. A quiet environment would also suit him well as loud noises easily spook him.
