Story
Chestnaught does have 2 siblings, Cotton and Deathstroke. We have attempted to rehome them separately once and they starved themselves, so we think it's best they all stay together if possible. Chestnaught was born September 13, 2017. Chestnaught is very lovey and loves staying nearby people and cuddling. He loves to eat grass, but must be indoors. All the cats do get along with children, however they would do best in a household with older children. They tend to keep their distance from young children that are more hyper.

Suzanna is a shy girl. She came from overwhelming circumstances and is still learning to trust people. She has warmed up a lot, and if you approach her slowly, and she trusts you, you can give her a belly rub! Suzanna is a female, short hair torbi. She is negative for feline leukemia/FIV, had all of her kitten vaccines, her 1 year rabies vaccine, and has been spayed. She is fecal tested negative, wormed and treated for fleas. Her DOB is estimated to be 3/19/23. If you have a quiet home, and patience, Suzanna is the kitten for you! Please fill out an adoption application. Https://www.catsanctuaryashland.org/application

Story
Meet Joan! Her kittens, Susan, Abby and Nicholas were adopted together and now Joan is ready to find her own forever home. Joan is a short hair, tiger and white female. She’s negative for feline leukemia/FIV, spayed, fully vaccinated for distemper, feline leukemia, and rabies. She’s fecal tested negative, wormed and treated for fleas. Her DOB is estimated to be 6/17/21. Joan took a little while to adjust to our sanctuary, but she has completely transformed during her time here. Joan is a super sweet, loving girl who adores chin scratches and snuggles from her humans. Joan is a playful girl but definitely appreciates a good nap. Joan is looking for a quieter home where she can be the center of attention. If you think Joan is the kitty for you, please fill out an adoption application today. Story
Salsa is an eight year old orange tabby. I found him on the side of the road as a kitten, a little beat up, and I’ve had him ever since. It’s been really hard to make this decision, but at this point he needs and deserves more attention than our family can give him - we have two other big dogs and a toddler. He does really well with them but it’s just too much chaos for him, causing anxiety and behavioral issues. He is the sweetest boy and loves cuddles. His personality is honestly more like a dog than a cat because of how much he loves people and socializing. He loves to lay on your lap as long as you allow and sleep with you and cuddle all night long. He loves treats at night time and playing with his string cat toy. He does have his front and back claws so he will need a scratching post to occupy his need to claw. Although he does well with other dogs and kids, I believe his ideal environment is without other pets or children as he needs a lot of love and attention.
