With their resident indoor cat needing to be the sole feline in the home, Cheeto's rescue Mom and Dad are now on a quest to find him the perfect, forever home. Despite his unknown past, Cheeto is a tame and affectionate cat. He has a tipped ear, confirmed by a vet from pictures (of his ears and hind end), indicating that he was neutered. His remarkable personality shines through—he gazes lovingly into the eyes of his rescuers, purrs with joy, and rolls over for pets. Cheeto is not shy when it comes to mealtime; he enjoys eating while his caretakers watch, and he often stands at the back window, meowing and hoping his rescuers will come outside to play. When this couple sits in a chair on their patio, or sit on the ground, he frequently jumps on their laps soaking up the love and attention they give him. Why we know he is tame: he meows (he has such a cute meow!), looks lovingly in his rescuers eyes, he purrs and sometimes tries to scootch by their legs or arms to get in their house. Buddy was reported to us living inside someone's freezing cold garage after his owner was evicted and left him behind. He's a very sweet boy and he's going to be that kind of cat that chooses to be your best companion, right by your side. He adorable, short and stout! You'll fall in love.

Anchovy - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 5/1/2023. Anchovy is current on is current on his vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative. Anchovy is a SH Grey and White. Anchovy was brought to Avon Lake Animal Clinic by a good samaritan, where he was treated for a really nasty double eye infection. He has recovered except for some minor changes to his left eye that do not affect his overall vision. He is being fostered in a home by one of his caretakers from the Clinic. He believes playing with toys and running around the apartment is his full-time job, with cuddles or pets being reserved only for bedtime. He is a professional acrobat when playing with his favorite dangler toy and loves to play hide-and-seek (although he isn't very good at hiding sometimes). He loves to carry his toys around and will even bring them into bed if he feels you are going to sleep too early!! He has done okay with other cats and dogs given the time to warm up to them. He's a little wary around new people but bring out some toys and he'll be your best friend in no time. He will need time to adjust to a new home, and proper introductions to new home and family and other pets. Duncan - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 12/5/2020. Duncan is current on his vaccines and has been tested NEGATIVE for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV). He is a SH White with some Black. Duncan was found by a Vet Tech from a local veterinary clinic and rescued. He is very sweet, social, playful and busy!! He has a great personality as well !! Duncan is ready for his forever, indoor home. He will need time to adjust to life in a home from cage / shelter life. Luciano - Neutered Male. Approximate DOB is 4/27/2022. Luciano is current on his vaccines and is tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is NEGATIVE. He is a SH Black and White. Luciano was rescued by LAS after he was reported living and hiding in the shrubs all alone at a local BP station. He was seen for days by staff and reported to us. He is darling and coming around to be such a sweet, social and playful boy! He is looking for a loving home and family! He will need time to adjust to a new home from shelter life.
