Story
Meet Suzanna! Suzanna is a sweet and loving short-haired torbi who has come a long way in learning to trust people. While she was initially a bit timid, she's now much more confident and enjoys receiving pets and affection from our volunteers. Head scratches are her favorite, and she'll often approach us for love. She can still be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily soak up the attention. Suzanna and her best friend, Hope, are inseparable, and we’d love for them to be adopted together. It would break our hearts to separate them! Kitty Lil is also part of their trio, with Hope being the common thread everyone loves. If all three could find a forever home together, we’d be absolutely thrilled. Suzanna is a female torbi, born on 3/19/2023. She is negative for feline leukemia/FIV, has received all of her kitten vaccines, her 1-year rabies vaccine, and has been spayed. She’s also been fecal tested, wormed, and treated for fleas. Suzanna would do well in a quiet home with a patient adopter who can give her time to continue building trust. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a playful side, Suzanna could be the perfect fit for your family! To adopt Suzanna (and hopefully Hope, too!), please complete our adoption application. Meet Joan! Her kittens, Susan, Abby and Nicholas were adopted together and now Joan is ready to find her own forever home. Joan is a short hair, tiger and white female. She’s negative for feline leukemia/FIV, spayed, fully vaccinated for distemper, feline leukemia, and rabies. She’s fecal tested negative, wormed and treated for fleas. Her DOB is estimated to be 6/17/21. Joan took a little while to adjust to our sanctuary, but she has completely transformed during her time here. Joan is a super sweet, loving girl who adores chin scratches and snuggles from her humans. Joan is a playful girl but definitely appreciates a good nap. Joan is looking for a quieter home where she can be the center of attention. If you think Joan is the kitty for you, please fill out an adoption application today. Story
On the rehoming reason "does not get along with other pet" It was my only choice and not the reason for rehoming. Rosco is a very loveable cat. He will come to when you call his name out or shake his jar of treats. He loves to snuggle and get his belly rubs. He will follow you around the house like he is your shadow curious about everything you are doing. He does try to play with our beagles, but does shy away from them when they get rambunctious and start their zoomies. We do have another cat, they get along for the most part, when Rosco gets aggressive towards our other cat the dogs step in and protect the other cat.

Buddy was reported to us living inside someone's freezing cold garage after his owner was evicted and left him behind. He's a very sweet boy and he's going to be that kind of cat that chooses to be your best companion, right by your side. He adorable, short and stout! You'll fall in love.

Let's Get Roscoe Off Of The Kitty Trail In Piqua 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻 Just look at this gorgeous boy, left two months ago in the dead of winter ❄️, to fend for himself in the woods of the kitty trail. He loves when the volunteers show up to fill his belly and give him love 💕 but looks so defeated every time they drive away again. He is a sweet boy and deserves someone to keep him safe and to provide a comfy place to lay his head. He's really a special boy and all of the volunteers are rooting for him to be chosen 🙏🏻. He is fully vetted and ready. He is around two years old. If you have a place in your heart ❤️ and home 🏡... I will go get this boy off the trail to get him home to you 🥰

Story
Dileep is such a deserving sweet boy💙! He checked into a hotel with his family. They forgot to take him with them when their journey continued😢. He was left and not found for almost a week and he was absolutely so shut down and sad. We have given him the time he needed to feel truly loved and now it is time for him to find a family to love him forever🙏🏻!!

Story
Meet Hope! Hope is a beautiful black and white female with an estimated birth date of 12/30/2022. She’s feline leukemia/FIV negative, spayed, and is up to date on all vaccinations. At just under 8 lbs, she may be petite, but she has a heart full of love to share. Hope is a shy and reserved kitty who will need time and patience to adjust to a new home. She has formed an inseparable bond with kitty Suzanna and also loves snuggling with Lil, so we’re hoping she can be adopted with one or both of her best friends! Each morning, Hope eagerly greets us, but she’s still hesitant around new people. She clearly wants affection but takes time to trust. With gentle encouragement, she warms up and enjoys quiet companionship. Hope thrives in a calm, peaceful environment and does best with a gentle feline companion who helps her feel safe. Ideally, she would be adopted with Suzanna or Lil (or both!), as they provide her with comfort and confidence. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a sweet, shy kitty, Hope could be the perfect match! Submit an adoption application today and give Hope the forever home she deserves. https://www.catsanctuaryashland.org/adoption-application

Story
Meet Bolognese! Bolognese is a female, short hair grey tiger with an estimated DOB of 5/8/2021. Bolognese and her sister Pesto have been with us about a year and a half. These sweet girls started off a little on the shy side which is probably the only reason some lucky family hasn't snatched them up already. They may need a little time to settle into new surroundings, but these girls would most certainly bring joy to a new family. Both of these ladies love the laser pointer and would do just about anything for their Temptation Puree treats! Sister Marinara has already found her forever home, now it's time for her sisters to do the same. Both sisters are spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, fully vaccinated, wormed, fecal tested negative, flea prevention. If you think your home might be right for Bolognese, Pesto, or maybe both please fill out an application today! Https://www.catsanctuaryashland.org/application

Story
Meet Petal – The Sweet and Shy Orange Tabby. Petal is a stunning orange and white tabby with deep, classic stripes and soft, velvety fur that’s as delightful to touch as it is to admire. Born on 5/1/2013, Petal has been with us since she was a kitten. While her mom and siblings have all found their forever homes, this shy and reserved girl is still waiting for her special someone. Petal is a bit of a mystery. She’s not the type to rush up to you for snuggles—she’s more independent and prefers to take her time getting to know people. She doesn’t enjoy being held, but once she feels comfortable and trusts you, she absolutely loves chin scratches. She’ll come around on her own terms, and when she does, you’ll see her sweet and affectionate side. Curious and observant, Petal enjoys watching the world around her and is often found quietly soaking in the sights and sounds of her surroundings. She’s also a bit of a treat connoisseur—each day, she greets our volunteers in hopes of getting some kitty treats! Petal doesn’t mind sharing her space with other calm kitties like herself, as long as there are enough treats to go around. Petal is negative for feline leukemia/FIV, up to date on all vaccinations, treated for fleas and worms, and has a negative fecal test. If you have a quiet, patient home and are willing to let Petal come out of her shell at her own pace, she will be a loving and loyal companion. If you’re ready to offer her a peaceful forever home, please fill out an adoption application today. Https://www.catsanctuaryashland.org/application
