Story
We adopted Artimus from the SPCA in Garner about a year ago. She had just been fixed after having a litter of kittens. Artimus is about 4 years old. She's only ever been around myself, my husband and our 13-year-old son since the adoption but once she got used to us, she had no problem asking for love and attention. She absolutely does not like to be picked up, but we've been working on that by picking her up and cuddling her while scratching her favorite spot, behind her ears. There's only been 2 issues since we got her, 1. she scoots even though there's no reason according to her vet and 2. she pees on anything left on the bathroom floor whether it be a rug or a towel or clothes. Since we live in a small apartment and the bathroom has no ventilation, we cannot close the door. This is the only reason we are putting her up for adoption. Please reach out today to meet this adorable girl.

Story
Sadie will turn 8 in March 2025. She was born from a mama cat who was at a shelter in Charlotte, NC and was born at the shelter. I adopted her as a kitten. The first 4 years everything was great. She loved being the only one to get attention. We got a dog 3 years ago and things have not been going well. The dog seems to really stress her out and has increased her anxiety. We have a baby on the way and I worry she will become even more stressed/anxious with a baby in the home. I am looking to rehome her to a place where she would be the only pet in the household. She is very sweet and loving but our home does not seem to be the best environment for her anymore.

Story
Art here is a little over 10 years old, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and declawed. He was declawed as a kitten before me or his previous owner took him in. A close friend had to move to Colorado for the Air Force and could not take him with her, so I volunteered to foster him until we found a forever home. It took him a few months to get comfortable with me and my other cat but it was so worth it. He is very sweet, rather aloof during the day but will sleep with you every night. Loves rolling around on his back like a worm. Loves fighting with pencils instead of real cat toys. He hasn't had any health issues previously, the only thing I've had to do for him is get slow-feeder bowls or he eats and drinks too quickly, but those will come with him as well as a litter box and an automatic feeder. He has been a lovely guest and I wish so badly I had the time and space to keep him but unfortunately that was never the plan. My goal is that he never has to move families again.
