Story
Mr. Pibb is a male cat between 2 and 3 years old. I found Mr. Pibb on an app called Nextdoor as I was looking for a friend for my current cat. We adopted Pibb back in April last year and there have been ups and downs. He is a very strong and dominant cat who needs his own space and does not get along well with other cats. He is great with humans, however, and is a great cat in general, albeit very high energy. I recommend Pibb to a younger owner with no other cats. I imagine he could do well with a dog, although I'm not entirely sure. He has no real behavioral issues; I am looking to rehouse simply because he is too aggressive towards the other cat in my house and I have no real way to referee or segregate the two.

Story
Linc was born to a stray mom on our street in NC. He is outdoor/indoor. He loves to be out. As he approaches 8 yrs (early May), he maintains a smaller territory and stays close to home. He is very street wise. He’s been living in an urban setting for 2 yrs and is very cautious of cars. He is sweet & social. He likes to go for a walk with us in the evening. We just noticed he’s not as happy in Canada in the colder climate than he is when we travel to North Carolina with him. But he’ll do anything to get out despite the temp. (Throw things off the top shelf😉) It’s as though he knows he’s home here in NC. He has lived with two dogs and doesn’t seem to fear dogs, unless they are aggressive with him. We thought one of our kids would take him when they moved out, but they are all in small apartments with roommates and unable to take him at this time. We really hope to find him an NC home by end of January. Thanks! 🙏🏻

Story
I’m a playful, busy little guy who loves darting after toys, practicing my wrestling moves, and zooming around like a tiny ninja. Once I’ve tired myself out, I might hop into your lap for a quick catnap once we’ve become better acquainted. Even adventurers need to recharge their batteries! I’m looking for a home with a patient adopter who understands that I will need some time to adjust to my new surroundings. I’d also love a kitty friend in my new home, so I have a buddy to play and wrestle with! If you’re looking for a playful companion who’ll keep you entertained with my antics and maybe even warm your lap, I can’t wait to meet you! Est. DOB: October 11, 2024 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.

Story
Toonces is a super sweet, sociable cat who loves to cuddle up. Toonces was born in Asheville and we adopted her from my daughter about about 13 years ago when she was a kitten. She handles crowds well and is very comfortable with adults and children. She is very gentle with kids and has a great disposition. Unfortunately, we are moving across country and can't bring Toonces with us. She is house trained and likes sleeping inside, but enjoys exploring the outdoors during the day. Toonces is truly an awesome cat!

Story
This sweet treat is ready for her furever home. She's a bit shy to start with, then she's a cuddle bug. She will lie on your lap and purr while she is napping. She loves to supervise while you are cleaning her litter box. That's also a good time to play fetch with a ball or mouse. Cookie lives with her 2 littermates, 4 other cats, and 2 dogs. She's good with all of them, but she does like her solo naps with her human foster mom. Are you interested in adopting Arista or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
Lovey is just that--a love. She is the most outgoing of her littermates and is always ready to greet a stranger. She also greets her foster dog "brothers" with her sweet little nose. She will sit with her foster humans for a short time, and then she's off for more adventures. She likes to investigate the fridge and to look out the sliding glass door.
