Story
We found Dobby running in the street when she was 8 weeks old. She is a good cat with lots of energy. The only reason we are removing her from our home is because she hasn't stopped using my houseplants as her litter box. I have tried everything in the book to keep her tamed and out of my plants. Nothing works. If you have large houseplants I don't suggest you take her. Small plants are fine. She is healthy and ready for her new home.

Story
To further parent of Doug, use approximately seven years old. I found them outside, fatten them up, took him to the SPCA to get neutered and his shots and kept him. He’s a very good boy that loves to lay on his blanket and snuggle beside his owner. He doesn’t really care for other pets nor children, he will hide and sometimes hiss. He will thrive at a home with a single parent or couple who are older without other pets or children. He’s not violent cat, he doesn’t bite or scratch, but does have his nails. He comes with all of his things like food & water feeder, blankets, and toys. He’s been a great companion to me and I’m very heartbroken that I would have to leave him behind due to. I will be moving overseas and cannot take him with me. He’s a very good and healthy boy. He just needs to go home.

Story
This little boy right here - he is a baby. To be completely honest, we know his forever family will be SOLD by that statement alone, because they will get how special and amazing this little boy is. Meet Rhys, a dapper little kitty who has a soft spot in all of our hearts here at Never Less Cat Rescue! In May of 2024, a mama cat gave birth to kittens in our rescue. Rhys was not one of these kittens, but he came to us just a few short days afterwards, found by an owner whos dog had picked him up and had him in their mouth. Rhys was quickly rushed to us, and immediately was taken up by our mama cat who claimed him as her own that second. Rhys was then adopted into the ACOTAR litter! He is the last of the bunch to find his forever home, but he is certainly not the least of them all. We believe Rhys has not found his forever home yet because potential adopters only see his shyness when meeting him. Rhys is a very shy boy, but that is not a bad thing! Rhys is a kitty who absolutely loves other kitties. He has had best friends out of many foster siblings in his time here at the rescue. If any animal is friendly, he is happy to be their friend too. He might be a little nervous if that animal is bigger than him, but he quickly realizes who is and isnt a threat! While Rhys does love other kitties, he forms strong and special bonds with people who give him the opportunity to, and that is exactly what he is looking for in his adopter! Someone who knows that giving him just a little extra time to adjust is okay, and his love is so rewarding. Rhys follows his foster parents from room to room. Sometimes he is right in step with them, ready to be apart of whatever everyone else is doing. Other times, he is content hanging out in the same room as you. When you have sat down on the couch to unwind, or lay down in bed, Rhys will gently come seek you out and spend time with you. He would love to lay on your lap and give you his special deep purrs. Special and rewarding to those willing to give this boy a chance! He doesn't like to be picked up much yet, but he loves chin scratches and being loved on. He is starting to head bunt more and roll on his back when he is happy to see his foster parents. Based on Rhys's interactions with other temporary fosters, we feel confident that Rhys will transition into a new home just fine. He will be shy at first, but within those first two weeks, what a difference you will notice! Rhys is a very low maintenance cat. He has no health problems and is a very well behaved little boy. His meow still sounds so little and cute, just like a kitten. We mean it when we say he is just a baby. Although he may be reaching his first birthday, nothing will stop him from being the cutest little baby ever! Rhys is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He has tested NEGATIVE for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. Adopters will receive all medical documents and microchip registration information. If interested in Rhys, please submit an adoption application here: https://forms.gle/AgCWUSCFB9Y2Lefx7 Rhys Adoption Fee is $200. Never Less Cat Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We have an adoption event each month at the PetSmart in Mooresville, NC. We do not allow same day adoptions, however, approved adopters may pick up their new baby at an adoption event. This requires a previously submitted and approved adoption application as well as completed and returned adoption paperwork. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at neverlesscatrescue@gmail.com.

Story
This little cutie is looking for her forever home! Meet Sage, a sweet older kitten, born late May of 2024, who is just an absolute darling. She is one of a litter of 5 that made their way to the rescue. This specific litter has a trademark sweetness and there is no short supply of that with Ms. Sage! Sage will be available to meet in person at our adoption events located in Mooresville, NC. She is shy during these events and some first introductions, but she warms up so quickly! Within a day she will be sleeping with you in bed and asking for all the pets and nuzzles. Her foster parents affectionately call her a "little lemur". Shes a sweet girl who still loves to play and gets along great with other friendly kitties and animals! Sage has been in a foster home with a dog that has no interest in interacting with the cats and she does fine alongside her. Sage has not been around any other dog. With that being said, a dog or another animal that may need some adjusting to is perfectly okay with Sage. She can remain reserved till everyone is comfortable and knows one another! Sage spends most of her time tagging along after her foster parents around the house. She is SO happy to be a lap kitty and loves being pet and getting chin and back scratches. Sage is not a very chatty kitty, but she will talk back to you when shes wanting something! This is usually for you to love on her, but she cannot lie, she might ask for treats here and there. Can you blame her? Sage is looking for a forever home with or without other animals in the home. She really would love to have someone to be as obsessed with her as she can be with them. The more people to love her, the merrier, but not a requirement! This little lady is an absolute delight and not high maintenance one bit. She is happy to play with other fur friends and you or be your own special little buddy. If interested in adopting Sage, please fill out an adoption application here: https://forms.gle/AgCWUSCFB9Y2Lefx7 Sage has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She has tested NEGATIVE for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. Adopter will go home with all vet records and microchip registration information. Please Note: we do not approve same day adoptions at our adoption events. Approved adopters are allowed to pick up their new baby at the adoption event. This requires an application submitted in advance with approval of adoption given by the rescue in advance with all paperwork signed and returned. If you have any questions, please contact us at neverlesscatrescue@gmail.com. Upcoming Adoption Events @ PetSmart - Mooresville, NC: February 16th + March 16th + April 13th

Story
Serena is a fun loving little lady who is looking for her forever home! If you familiar with the trademark, SUPER loving characteristics of Sterling and Spencer, well you are in luck, because Serena is their sister! That same super loving trait is in this little lady as well. Serena and her sister Sage are the last two of this litter looking for their homes, but that is to no fault of their own! Both of these little ladies have that trademark sweetness and will be such a gem in any home! Serena and her siblings were born likely end of May/early June. She is still quite young and has plenty of kitten energy in her as she spends her days playing away her sister and foster siblings. Serena would love to go home with her sister Sage, be adopted into a home with other furry friends already, or into a home where her human(s) are ready and excited to play with her a lot! The perfect home for Serena would be one that would provide her with plenty of enrichment (toys, scratchers, trees, etc) to live her most fun and fullest life and be ready to settle down and snuggle with her at the end of the day. Serena would be most appreciative if her forever family would be willing to let her lick their fingers after dinner and maybe sneak her a treat when the other cats aren't looking. She says she won't tell! Serena has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms. Adopter will go home with all medical records. Serena's adoption fee is $200. If you would like to adopt a friend with Serena, each additional friend is only a $50 adoption fee! If you would like to adopt any of our sweet babies, please submit an application via this link: https://forms.gle/AgCWUSCFB9Y2Lefx7 Approved applicants can schedule a meet and greet ahead of adoption. Never Less Cat Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit rescue organization. Your adoption fee is tax deductible.
