Story
Luca and his twin brother Simba were rescued from a home in the country that was overrun with kittens and cats. We took them in with intent of neutering and making sure they had all their vaccinations. He is very sweet ( loves to give kisses at night), playful and enjoys wrestling with his brother. He also enjoys his catnip toys , kitty condo and scratching post. Recently I've let him outside for an hour or so on our proprty and he enjoys exploring bugs and leaves. He's a great kitty AND...he never sheds! It would be great if he could be adopted with Simba or into a house with another cat.

Story
Simone and her brother, Winston, are four year old siblings who we adopted when they were kittens. They are indoor only and haven’t left the confines of our house from the time they moved in; their vet makes house calls here. If you enjoy cats, you can’t do better than these two. They are easy to care for and have none of the annoying habits often found among cats, such as scratching furniture, walking on kitchen countertops, fighting with one another, etc. They are the best of friends and a pleasure to have around as companions. We’re looking for a new home where they can continue to live together. Look here for Winston’s separate listing.

Story
Toonces is a super sweet, sociable cat who loves to cuddle up. Toonces was born in Asheville and we adopted her from my daughter about about 13 years ago when she was a kitten. She handles crowds well and is very comfortable with adults and children. She is very gentle with kids and has a great disposition. Unfortunately, we are moving across country and can't bring Toonces with us. She is house trained and likes sleeping inside, but enjoys exploring the outdoors during the day. Toonces is truly an awesome cat!

Story
Simba is a sweet and playful boy, but not coping well with the addition of a new baby. His anxiety is causing him to urinate around the house and I have to make the extremely difficult decision to find him a new, loving home. He is also bonded with his sister, Nala (also 12), so I think they would be happier in a new home together. Simba loves to cuddle with his catnap toys, and also play fetch with rubber bands. Nala loves dribbling crinkly balls like a soccer ball! I can't belive they are 12 because they play like kittens. They will snuggle with me on the couch (when they decide to :)) and sleep in bed with me. They are inside cats, spayed/neutered. They will do best in a generally quiet home with no dogs. They also love plenty of windows for sleeping in the sun and bird-watching.
