Story
This is Lady! She was found as a stray roaming around a restaurant in Durham. She’s around 10 months out now, and very playful! She’s a very sweet girl who loves attention and back rubs. She loves treats and Cat TV, but does not do well with dogs, as she is quite scared of them. She is a very feisty, funny little girl who would make an amazing pet!

Story
This cat showed up on my doorstep a few weeks ago. I have put her on 3 different apps looking for her owner or even finding her a good home. I rent a small duplex and I already have two cats that I am fortunate enough to keep bc I have a great landlord. I did take her to the vet and I had her dewormed and I also got her a rabies shot. They couldn’t tell me tho if she is spayed, she possibly might even be pregnant at this time. I just want her to have a good home. She is playful and loves to be petted. She seeks attention, but a little shy. I think she would do great in a home without many other animals.

Story
I’m a playful, busy little guy who loves darting after toys, practicing my wrestling moves, and zooming around like a tiny ninja. Once I’ve tired myself out, I might hop into your lap for a quick catnap once we’ve become better acquainted. Even adventurers need to recharge their batteries! I’m looking for a home with a patient adopter who understands that I will need some time to adjust to my new surroundings. I’d also love a kitty friend in my new home, so I have a buddy to play and wrestle with! If you’re looking for a playful companion who’ll keep you entertained with my antics and maybe even warm your lap, I can’t wait to meet you! Est. DOB: October 11, 2024 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.

Story
It is with extremely mixed feelings that I post these kittens. When I had their feral mother spayed I did not know they existed. It is due to a miracle that they are still here because they survived 3 days without their mother. This brother and sister are delightful creatures. I started letting them in the house a week ago when it became really cold. Their manners are impeccable. I didn't even have to show them where the litter boxes are. They do not bother my older cats. They curl up on my lap. They need to be indoor only. I would love to keep them. The problem is that my daughter died inJune and her house will be sold, and she has eight cats that I also need to find homes for. That will be a tough sell. They are older andnot as compliant and sweet. In addition, I am at an age where they will probably outlive me, which could be tragic for them. There are so many reasons why a kitten needs a kitten, especially one they are already bonded with. A lifetime of joy. 🙏

Story
Freelo is a ~1 year old stray that showed up at our home last summer. She was underweight but otherwise healthy and eager for affection. We got her spayed, vaccinated, and up to a healthy weight. She is a wonderful cat, incredibly loyal, chatty, loves to have all of your attention. Full grown she is still very petite. She is an avid hunter and enjoys being outdoors but equally enjoys being indoors. She currently lives as an outdoor/garage cat but I believe would be happy fully indoors. She uses her litterbox or goes outside. She was initially afraid of our animals but has slowly warmed up to our cat. Unfortunately my dogs chase her off any chance they get so I've been keeping them separated but it's taking a toll, which is my main reason for rehoming. I think she could live with dogs if they respected her space. I adore her but would love to see her in a home where she recieved more attention and indoor living. She's a true tortie, sometimes spicy but primarily extra affectionate.
