Tabby kittens & cats in Lees Summit, Missouri

Brad was picked up as a stray, but clearly had a home. He was at a healthy weight, clean and very loving. He is so sweet at the shelter and tries to play with the other cat. He does not know a stranger, and confidently approaches each and every person he meets. With his striking good looks and personality he is the total package!!

Nosey is a 5-year-old, female spayed grey tabby. Her dad passed away a few months ago and sweet Nosey needs a new home. She loves getting lots of attention and love, as her dad was retired and doted on her for her entire life. Her sister, Monkey, is also available. Monkey is 13 years old. She's a spayed calico mix and she has been front declawed. She is also very sweet and affectionate. They can be adopted into separate homes; however, Nosey does not like any other cats but Monkey, so Nosey will need to be in a single-cat household if these two are separated. Tiggy is a playful little kitty.She enjoys her toys,treats and fishing pole cat toy with catnip.Tiggys favorite toy is the cat tunnel.She loves running thru it as it rolls around. Tiggy is a little shy and needs a home willing to give her time to adjust .

Desi needs a new loving family. This guy is the newest to the family. He’s about to turn 3 and has been in our family a little over a year. All our other “kids” are older. We’ll be over the household limit when we move. Desi is a feisty, playful, young man. He acts like a dog. LOVES toys. I call him my bearcat. He’s stocky and very chatty and smart. He has to tell you everything he’s doing or about to do. He wants to be in the same room as you. He’ll come to you when he wants hugs, but doesn’t mind being picked up and hugged. He prefers dry food, and likes to drink the milk from your cereal or ice cream bowl. Desi once lived with some pretty mean dogs. He’s learned that mine won’t hurt him, and would need time to trust others. I used a kennel for him when I introduced him to our other “kids.” He finds that to be a safe space, especially when I put his cardboard scratching boat/bed in it. He probably won’t do well with children under 4. Only loving pet people need apply.

Pretty joyful and rambunctious really friendly though

Jackson is a wonderful cat looking for his forever home. He is handsome, athletic, can be feisty, and playful. When he’s in the mood for affection, Jackson will happily curl up next to you. He’s also independent and enjoys his alone time, exploring his surroundings and lounging in his favorite sunny spots. Jackson responds best to gentle interaction, so a calm and patient approach is key to winning his heart. Jackson may do best as an only cat, as he is selective about his feline friends and prefers a peaceful atmosphere. He thrives on human companionship. Jackson is litter-box trained and current on his vaccinations. We adopted Evie from an animal shelter as a kitten when we lived in TN. She is a 12yr old female, declawed in the front, spayed, and up to date on all shots. She is very healthy, strictly an inside cat and she is very sweet and lovable. She gives great hugs with loud purrs in the mornings and snuggles with us at bedtime. For her age she still acts like a kitten by chasing her tail and playing chase with our little Jack Russell, and she enjoys "helping" us work out. She prefers a quieter environment of no young children or other animals, although she has tolerated very well the 10 foster puppies we have had in our home over the years. And she is co-habitating quite well with our small dog. She does go into hiding when there are young children around. She enjoys snuggling up on your lap, especially if there is a blanket involved, and loves sleeping in the dog bed in front of the window. If there is a spot of sun hitting the floor, she will find it and enjoy a warm nap. She is a sweet member of our family that we will miss.
