Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Name: Alto Age: 1-2 years Breed: Domestic Short Hair Gender: Neutered Male Good with Dogs: Unknown, never really been around them Good with Cats: Unknown, never really been around them Good with Children: Never been around them Current weight: 9.6lbs FeLv/FIV test: Negative Adoption Fee: $50 Misc. Information: Alto was surrendered to the shelter because his owner moved to a home that does not allow animals. He was described as a quiet, friendly, loving, yet demanding and energetic cat. He loves to play with toys and would benefit from having several scratching posts throughout the house. Alto has never been around children so doing slow and supervised introductions and giving Alto time to adjust will be required in a new home. He seems to be a very sweet and loving cat and more than likely will do just fine in a home with children given time and patience. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Name: Buttercup Age: 6-8 Months Breed: Domestic Short Hair Gender: Spayed Female Good with Dogs: Yes, but he will require a proper introduction. Good with Cats: Yes, but he will require a proper introduction. Good with Children: Never been around children Current weight: 6lbs FeLv/FIV test: Neg Adoption Fee: Waived Misc. Information: Buttercup was adopted and returned shorty after because she was not compatable in the new home. Her former owner surrendered her to the shelter because they couldn’t afford to keep her, as she had been a strtay they found. Buttercup has lived both indoors and outdoors and was described as a shy girl, which has been evident at the shelter as she is very scared and nervous. She does like to be pet but it takes her a second or two to come around to it. She will require some time to adjust to a new home but will probably be better once out of the shelter. Buttercup is in the back where it's less stressful for her. Please ask shelter staff to see her if interested in adopting her.
