Tabby kittens & cats in Tecumseh, Michigan

We found Muumi as a kitten living under our porch back in Pittsburgh. We couldnt find any sign of a family anywhere, so we fed her, got her shots, and microchipped and welcomed her to our family. She was an indoor-outdoor cat for the first 10ish years - very fit, really enjoyed being outdoors. She was stressed to move to a new home in Michigan ~12 years but still went outside and roamed around. Once we got a dog (and they didnt get along), she retreated more to the basement. When we moved to our current house 5 years ago, she decided she didnt want to leave the basement (or go outside) and has hung out there since. She is very cuddly and excited for attention. We'd guess shes around 18 years old, but the vet says she's still very healthy. We're moving out of the country in December and want to find her a new and great home, where she can get more attention than she currently gets in the basement. A home without another cat or dog would be ideal for her. She is very loving.

Ruff and Tumble had a very difficult start in life as did their teenage mother of only five months old when she became pregnant. Tumble and Ruff are two peas in a pod. He's a VERY ACTIVE BOY. Ruff is a little more reserved. But they love each other. Tumble's coat looks like a Bengal Cat. We are looking for a very special human who wants two loving companions who love each other to the moon and back. Lotus, their mother was an excellent mother to them. Tumble is a active kitten and needs a busy household. Ruff and Tumble deserve to have a peaceful and wonderful life ahead. All the kittens were raised with classical and gospel folk music playing 24/7 just to make a wonderful atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Sweet Molly girl needs a calm loving situation. We don't have a full picture of what Molly has been through but she behaves as if she was in a loving calm home for most of her life and after dealing with thousands of cats, we can see she is lost emotionally. She was adopted in February by a nice lady who saw how sad she was at a shelter, in a cage. They had her listed as good with other animals but in bringing her home where there were two other. younger kitties, she was hiding from them and after many months of trying to get her comfortable with them, it's just not happening. It's obvious she was used to a home where she was the only cat. She'd be fine with a older smaller dog who doesn't bother her much but as far as a cat goes, it's obvious to us she came from a calm home with calming views as she doesn't like the noise of traffic or sirens, or a faster pace daily existence. She is sweet and playful when she's the only cat in the room, she's a snuggle bug and prefers to be in someone's lap. She's affectionate towards people and for someone wanting a cat companion she's fantastic. Looking for a non smoking home for her and all our pets. We have had numerous cats who now needs homes because they have contracted COPD from their smoking owners. To have to buy a facemask for a pet who needs medication treatments almost daily because they got sick from smoking is just heartbreaking. We shouldn't be subjecting or children or pets to smoke. It cripples them drastically and it's not cheap to treat them either. It's so sad to get calls to take in COPD cats and dogs. Kelly is a pretty female, buff colored kitty. She comes to us from a very sad situation. She was born inside and was living with 17 other kittens her age or younger. The couple who owned the cats lived in a smoke-filled trailer, they weren't paying their lot rent and are going to be booted this week. We were able to get all the little kittens out and into homes or other rescues. All are litter trained and all are longing for a family of their own in a clean, smoke free home with sunny windows to view the world from. A home where there is no over crowding and plenty of love to go around for them without having to divide and share that with 16 others. Kelly and her two sisters, Kari,Kandy and brother Gino are still kittens themselves, and their three year old Dad, Buck are all very sweet and friendly and sweet, they all need homes or fosters very soon. Kelly and Gino and Buck are all buff colored tabbies. Buck is fixed, we are getting the others fixed this week. The sisters are super small still and the siblings are only 10 months old. Kari is a gorgeous dilute calico. Kandy is a beautiful silver tabby. The siblings could be adopted in pairs even they all get along. Buck is a big beautiful male, he's fine on his own. Izzy was found outside as a kitten, dumped, and she was saved by a nice neighbor who brought her in, she thought she could keep her. But her older cat would not let her settle in there and they fight. Although she hates to give her up, her old cat isn't going to accept her so we need to find her a home. Izzy is outgoing, friendly, large and in charge. She would be fine with a male cat who is playful and wants to play and is close to her age. She is a beautiful coated kitty and is sweet with people.
