Story
I got this kitten from a litter from a barn cat. She is very playful! She is cuddly and loves to be around people! She has 5 toes on all of her feet! We have another cat and a dog and she gets along great with them! We are only looking to rehome her because she occasionally pees on things. She knows how to use the litter box and does the majority of time. I took her to the vet and had her checked and they said everything came back good and that they think it may be behavioral. We are an extremely busy family and don’t have the time she needs to remedy the problem. This is very hard for us because we really love her, but we feel this is the best for her.

Story
Meet Shadow, a beautiful 10-year-old girl with a heart full of loyalty. Shadow devotedly stayed by her owner’s side during recovery from a hip replacement—truly a constant companion. Sadly, due to ongoing health challenges, her owner could no longer care for her, and Shadow came into our rescue. Shadow is a typical cat who enjoys affection on her own terms, and she’ll do best with someone who respects her boundaries. She has lived with other cats and small dogs, making her a great fit for a calm, loving home. If you’re looking for a sweet, independent companion, Shadow may be your perfect match. She has excellent litter box habits, is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had full bloodwork. She is a healthy cat with no medical concerns. If you are interested in Shadow, please email tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application available here: https://tysonsplacerescue.org/cat-and-dog-adoptions/#adopt (scroll down to the bottom for the application).

Story
🐾 Meet Taz! 🐾 Taz is a spunky, affectionate 6-year-old guy who came to us when his owner could no longer care for him due to her own health issues. He’s a friendly, outgoing cat who truly enjoys people and would make a wonderful companion. Taz loves his wet food, enjoys playing with toys, and can often be found basking in a sunny spot after climbing to the very top of his cat tree—one of his favorite pastimes! He has excellent litter box manners and an easygoing personality that makes him a great choice for a first-time cat owner. Taz is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has had full bloodwork. He’s a healthy boy with no known medical issues and is ready to find his forever home. If you’re interested in adopting Taz, please email tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com or complete an adoption application here: 👉 https://tysonsplacerescue.org/cat-and-dog-adoptions/#adopt (Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application.) Taz is ready to bring love, sunshine naps, and plenty of personality into his new home! 🐱💛

Story
Mochi was my first cat—adopted during the COVID shutdown when she was just 8 weeks old. For the past 5 years, she’s been my little shadow, always curious, smart, and full of personality. She’s incredibly affectionate with people and loves to play, especially fetch with balled-up tinfoil. She’s also a bit of a trickster—she’s figured out how to open cupboards, unscrew feeder lids, and will find bread no matter where you hide it. Recently, I moved in with my girlfriend who has multiple cats, and unfortunately, Mochi hasn’t been able to get along with them despite weeks of slow introductions. With a baby on the way, we’ve realized that rehoming her is the kindest and safest option for everyone involved—including Mochi. She’s a wonderful, loving cat who just needs to be the only pet in a quiet home where she can thrive as the center of someone’s world. Letting her go is incredibly hard, but I know she’ll bring so much joy to the right person.

Story
Kingsley was part of a 100 cat feral colony and was one of few fortunate enough to be rescued by HCW.   She will need to be the only animal in the home.  It needs to be understood that she will most likely never be a lap cat or social. She was tried with an adopter who worked with her but due to her other cats terrorizing her she lost weight and wouldn’t leave her blankets to use the bathroom.  We can touch her but she hisses.  ##822309##
