Tabby kittens & cats in Monroe, Michigan

In July, my daughter found a mother cat and 5 kittens in her garage. I took them home and still have them. Mother cat died shortly after I took them in. I am in process of getting the females spayed in the next couple weeks. I would really love to find homes for some of them as I have several large older cats. Shylo is a beautiful tabby with distinct black stripes. They are all very friendly. She has sisters Pookie and Stella and brothers Monkey and Biggie.

Jinx and Jerry are siblings and are approx 10 months old. They were adopted together, they love each other deeply and their family, for whatever reason, can't keep them. We see too much of this and it's extremely sad for the kittens. They are fixed and up to date on shots, indoor only. We are looking for a non smoking home for them together. Paella and Paprika are brother and sister and very busy, very playful. They are with their mother, Yian, still and ready for a home of their own. There were five in the litter, four survivors and they were born inside, so always been indoors. Paella is SO inquisitive and sweet, he's always interested in what you are doing. The whole litter is like this. Very people oriented. Both he and his sister are very snuggly. They play so great together. They are a bit skittish as they were fostered by two students often in school or working, so they need a little more people time. We are looking for non smoking homes where they will be indoor only. Pearl is a sweet little silver tabby, and her brother Rez are two sweet five month old tabby siblings who are glued to each other. They belong to someone who adopted them young and can not continue to care for them. They are very much glued to each other and always snuggled together. Pearl and Rez came to their original owner very young. She has been trying to care for them, but she can't any longer so it's sad, but they do need a new home. Handsome has had quite a rough few years. He had a very bonded brother, a orange brother, they were inseparable. They belonged to a man who was living here from Spain. After the pandemic, instead of returning them to me because he didn't keep up their shots, he couldn't take them to Spain, so he opened the door and just let them go. About a year later I got a cat from the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic who said someone had just brought in the brother, they knew it was him from the microchip number, registered to me. They called me and within a half hour I was on my way to pick him up. Once I got there, the office manager had GIVEN him to a client of theirs in the waiting room. She knew I was on my way. I asked for the information of the person they gave him to, she wouldn't give me the info. I reported the clinic to the police, they could not get the info either. One Oct 26th of this year, I got a call from a man in South Lyon who had found Handsome, the brother on his door step. He had been there for a week so he brought him in to the vet and found the chip number and they called me. Handsome was alone on the run since Jan of 2022 without his brother. He is a big beautiful and very affectionate boy. Thank God we got him back and he was safe. He's alone now and very loving and affectionate. He is enjoying being spoiled and loved on. He showed up in the middle of nowhere with miles of farm land all around. He's been through a lot, he's a big snuggly boy.
