Story
My husband I acquired Tigger from the Harford County Shelter in 2010 when he was 3 months old. He has grown into smart mature male that is an over lover and loves his 1:1 attention from a loving female looking for a lap cat to keep you warm. He prefers women over men and grows to trust anyone. Children that are grown are preferred since he does not respond to rambunctious moves. My husband and him have a love/hate relationship where Tigger loves him if I am traveling but wants to be the Alpha of the family sleeping on his side of the bed when he is gone. My husband has suffered with asthma most of his life but has turned critical where he is on a ton of medication and inhalant's. Tigger is not his only allergy, but his highest prospect. We don't want to rehome our furr baby but we are past the point to save my husband. Tigger comes with a small special need. He has some kind of eye infection where he is treated with medication that is inexpensive. 9

Story
My cats name is Champ and he is a very loving cat. My family acquired him through a trusted neighbor looking to rehome as well due to their other pets in their household. He is shy , yet likes to play and doesn’t really like loud noises or household cleaning machines. He always runs away or hides until the cleaning is finished. He loves head rubs, naps and just sitting around enjoying someone’s company. He likes fishy toys on strings so he can jump and grab them and also gets a kick out of laser pointers. Champ also likes occasionally going outside to bask in the sunlight or hop on something high to see the view. He’s doesn’t like to stay outside for longer than he likes. Indoors is where he’s most comfortable.

Story
Milo is a lovable, handsome, young guy who has been through a lot of changes in his short life. He was born in November of 2020. Now he is looking for someone who will love him and give him the forever home he needs to show just how much love he has to share. When Milo was only 2 years old, his brother and best cat friend passed away. After that, he tried his best to make the family dog his replacement friend but it just wasn't the same. Not long after that, a human family member became ill and Milo was taken to a shelter. All the noises at the shelter scared Milo but fortunately, he was only there for a day or two before he lucked out with a very kind, patient foster mom taking him home. When Milo arrived in his foster home, he was scared and has had to learn to trust again. Fortunately, his foster mom knew Milo had lots of love to give so with her patience and expert guidance from a cat behaviorist, Milo discovered the view from the top of the dresser was much better than the "obstructed view" beneath the dresser and pets from a human are really nice. Milo enjoys his foster mom's dog - when it isn't too crazy - so would probably be happiest in a home where he has a calm cat and/or dog buddy. He also needs a quiet home because loud, unexpected noises send him back to the "obstructed view." Older children in the home would be fine too if they are willing to let Milo come to them on his own terms. Milo also loves to talk so he will gladly tell you all about his day. Story
I’m Einstein, and I’m looking for a forever home with my brother, Newton. We were both in April 2024. I’m a friendly, chill, and goofy cat who loves people—feel free to pick me up and cuddle me, but beware: I get jealous if you pet my brother more than me! My favorite activities are exploring, playing with toys, chasing Newton (or my own tail), and napping with Newton. I’m a fantastic soccer player and love chasing a ball down the hallway. I make a great buddy for anyone looking for a soft, sweet, and spunky friend. To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Story
I’m Newton, and I’m looking for a forever home with my brother, Einstein. We were both born in April 2024. I’m a curious, sensitive, and independent cat who loves nothing more than getting up to adventures with Einstein (I cry when he’s out of my sight for too long). I enjoy playing with toys with my brother and my humans, and I’ll happily accept pets and being picked up when I’m in the mood. Wet food is my favorite thing in the whole world! If you’re looking for a pair of sweethearts to entertain you with our playful energy and make your heart melt when we nap curled around each other, we’re your guys! To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. Story
Satsuki has an abundance of Big Kitten Energy. She was born in November of 2023. She loves toys and tunnels, chasing and wrestling with her sister, Mei, watching birds and squirrels from the windows, exploring and getting into everything. She also loves people and will great you, tails up, with trills, meows, and nuzzles. Satsuki will also follow you everywhere. Satsuki is great with dogs and even rabbits, but wants to be at the top of the cat pecking order. This makes her a little too assertive for some other cats. She is never aggressive, but will chase, hiss and swat. Her sister Mei, though, is always her BFF! Satsuki and Mei are very bonded so must be adopted together. Adopting a pair can be a great advantage if you are out of the house for long days at the office. Their unique bond guarantees endless joyful exchanges as they play, cuddle, and groom each other. Satsuki and Mei will also welcome your participation during play time and nap time! Due to their high-energy level, they are not recommended for very young children but are excellent companions for older elementary kids and up. To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Story
Adoption Fee Sponsored by a Generous Supporter Introducing Penelope. Our vet estimates her to be 3 years old. She has an entire lifetime ahead of her and we want it to be great. Penelope is part of the "black & white" group that we rescued. After their owner passed away, the cats were left outside on their own for about 2 months. Penelope has been spending time at a foster home where she is quite comfortable. As the photos show, she loves cat trees. Hint to her adopter that she would love a cat tree at her forever home. She will do best in a quiet home, so no young children please. She gets along with other cats and a small dog at her foster home. Penelope's foster home is located in Hampstead MD (Carroll Co). Adoption Fee: Sponsored by a Generous Supporter - Approved Adopter pays -0- at time of adoption To apply to adopt complete our adoption application online at www.finallyhomeanimalrescue.com. Story
Sabrina is a 2 year old petite girl with super sleek fur. She is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to be petted and scratched under the neck. She has lots of love to give. When she gets excited her tail even does this funny little twitch that will make you laugh. I think she is trying to pick up radio stations. She would do ok by herself but think she would do best having a companion cat, around her age or younger that is not dominant. Sabrina likes to play with toys, the wand type and catnip furry mice. This funny girl is addicted to Temptation cat treats and will come screaming when she hears the bag rattle. When she is not napping she is constantly on the go but loves to be on the sofa or next you when its time to relax. If you're looking for a lovable girl Sabrina could be for you. Sabrina's foster home is located in Silver Run/ Westminster (Carroll County). Adoption Fee: $75 To meet/adopt Sabrina, please fill out our online adoption application at www.finallyhomeanimalrescue.com Contact Jamie Brown at jbrown@finallyhomeanimalrescue.com with any questions. Prior to adoption all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested and treated for parasites.
