I adopted Cayenne from the PG County Shelter 2 months ago. She's a very beautiful 5-years old female with a lovely face. She is litter-trained, usually very quite, and healthy, she enjoys playing with balls and other toys. Being a feral cat, she still needs to be socialized. While she is not comfortable approaching people yet, she made a progress and adjusted to live in a home. A patient and understanding home with experienced cat owners is needed as well as a consistent positive interaction with Cayenne will help her to be socialized.

Story
Belle is a friend of the family. She is a calm cat who likes to go outside and sit in the sun but not go on walks atleast not yet. I am hoping she can find a fun home where she can climb and explore. Right now my cousin is pregnant and will be taying with us and is allergic to cats so belle is in the basement where she is uncomfortable. I want to rehouse her asap. She has a brother a dog named Titus that she has a love hate relationship with they do get along at times but Belle doesn't like play fighting with dogs and will get grumpy and remove herself and or hiss if the dog gets aggressive with her. Usually only an issue when food is out and Titus the dog gets territorial Belle is not having that she is a strong graceful elegeant woman about town :D. Hoping you are the right home for her she is a treasured family friend that we can't house because of a pregnancy and new person staying in our household.

Friend is the friendliest cat I’ve ever known. Growing up, I used to be terrified of cats, but his kindness washed away my fears and we’ve been inseparable since. I’m moving soon and I won’t be able to give him the attention I know he deserves. Although he is a stray I spoil him. He gets brushed while he eats and I sit on my porch and read to him when the weather permits. Friend can be timid around strangers but he is very affectionate and loves sunbathing. My only wish is that his new home showers him in love he is deserving of.

Meet Willa! Willa is 3 and is a beautiful tabby cat. I recently adopted her from a shelter in Virginia. All of her medical history is up to date, and I have the full records. She is FIV negative with no health issues. She is litter trained and uses her scratching post. She was shy at first, but soon became very cuddly (evening snuggles are a must) and playful. She loves playing with her wire feather toy and chasing hairbands across the floor. She has selected a favorite chair and loves to doze on it. Willa has a lot of love to give! She clearly enjoys the company of people she trusts. In full transparency - I live in a small apartment, and Willa is VERY vocal, particularly at night. She meows most of the night, and even with earplugs it can be a struggle to sleep through it. I work very long hours and it is affecting me too much, as much as I adore her. She would be best suited in a bigger space with more room for both her own meandering and her owners sleep schedule.

Hi! This is Trippy. He was adopted from the Humane Society in August 2016 when he was only a couple weeks old. He is very loving and loves loves loves to cuddle and be shown affection. He is still very active and loves to play. He was raised around to children, boys. My oldest son was 5 when we got Trippy and my youngest son is now 4. He was great when my youngest son came home from the hospital. Although he was curious, he respected boundaries. He isn’t too thrilled about dogs and he has never been introduced to other cats. Overall, he would be a great addition to your family.
