Story
Meet Minnie! Minnie was born into the rescue on 12/29/23, with her only sibling, Mickey! Minnie would do best in a home with not a lot of chaos and older children or cat respectful children. She has never been aggressive, but with fast movements will run away to a safe place. She would also do best in a home with cat respectful dogs. She will give a warning hiss and run to her safe place on the other side of a baby gate to get away from the dogs. She also lives with other cats and does well. She has an independent personality, enjoys playing with toy mice and fuzzy balls on her own. But always seeks out a lap to cuddle up with for before bed snuggles. Story
Meet Pete, This girl can be a bit shy at first, but with slow attention and gentle pets, she`ll offer the softest purr. Pete came to us as a stray, where we do not know if she has ever been around humans before! She shows her under socialized side when quick or loud moments/ noises happen. She`d thrive with a patient person who understands she may take a bit to come around to a house cat life! We do not know how Pete does with dogs, although we believe she may do well in a home with other cats! As for kids, their energy may be too much for her. She`s looking for a home without young children!Interested in meeting Pete? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours!

Story
Meet Guy Fiery!Guy is a shy fella who is learning to trust people. He will need a home willing to give him the time he needs to settle. He does like gentle chin rubs on his terms and is known to enjoy a brushing session or two.Additionally, Guy Fiery is FIV positive, so he will need to remain an indoor only kitty, living either as the only cat in your home, or live with other cats who also have FIV in your home. To keep he and his bladder happy and comfortable, Guy Fiery asks to enjoy a Prescription Hills diet of C/D food you can get with your vet. Upon adoption, KVHS will send you home with a supply while you wait to get into your veterinarian for your own prescription. If you`d like to meet Guy Fiery, please stop by KVHS during adoption hours!

Story
Meet Middleton! This happy girl can`t wait to meet you! She purrs as loud as she can to get you attention! She loves everyone she meets and would do well with all ages. Middleton came from a home with other cats, however, those cats were positive for Felv, so Middleton can only go home with her Felv negative house mate, Miss Molly, or as an only cat. It is recommended that Middleton be retested in 6 months. If you would like to meet Middleton and/or Miss Molly, please stop by KVHS during adoption hours!
