Story
Hi! My name is Walter. I'm a 3-year-old brown tabby and one of the friendliest cats you'll ever meet. I'm very sweet and love cuddling, pets, rolling over on my back, belly scratches, and head bumping anybody who walks in the door. I'm very well-behaved, as I happily use my litter box and don't scratch or bite. Of course, I'm a young guy with plenty of energy when I'm not asleep on your lap, and I enjoy a good play session, too! I'm a confident guy; I just love people and to be where the action is. Unfortunately, I don't get along with the resident cat in the household (an older kitty), which is a little stressful for both of us. While I might get along better with a younger and more energetic cat, I would be a great fit as the only cat in a household. If you're looking for a friendly, active lap cat who loves people, I'm your guy!

Story
When I was in college, I rescued Garfield from an unsafe home environment with the intention of fostering him temporarily before giving him away. He captured my heart with ease and 8 years have flown by with him by my side. He is highly adored by everyone who has met him. He has the cutest meow and will chat with you on a daily basis. He will sit on your lap and purr for hours. Love him and he will love you back tenfold. He seldom needs alone time and thrives on constant attention. His needs have changed to the point that my lifestyle and career have become incompatible with being his owner. I’m looking for someone who is patient, caring, and prefers to stay home. I won’t rule anyone out based on age, but it’s likely that the best match for him is someone 30 years or older with a stable environment. I love him fiercely and I’m devastated to give him away. However, I know that his next owner is out there and will adore him just as much as I do. Thank you for your attention!

Story
We are looking for a new home for our cat, Jimmy. He is two years old and was a farm kitten. He is updated on all shots, declawed, spayed, and microchipped. I can provide all paperwork. We have added a newborn baby to our family and unfortunately he is a little too curious for comfort. Jimmy grew up with our small dog and they play/wrestle often. He also gets along with my mother’s dog. However, he does not like new dogs. I am sure he could adjust just fine. He is very sweet and again declawed in the front and back, so no worrying about furniture being ruined! He is litter box trained as well. He will come with his bucket of food, window hammock, and plastic litter box. Plus whatever litter we have left over.

Story
I adopted her when she was a young cat at 9 months old. Her birthday is sometime in June/July but I don’t know her actual date. She’s a very playful cat, loves to cuddle and come lay to watch tv with you and just be in your presence!! When she’s not with you she often likes to sit from her cat tree or on the couch to watch out the window as people and cats pass by. She's litter box trained. Main reason I am searching for a new home is I simply don’t have the time to give her the consistent attention she needs daily. Play time, engagement, she unfortunately cannot sleep in the room with me which has been as frustration for her as she longs to be by her persons side! I love this cat so very dearly, but I know she deserves a home that can give her the attention she deserves. She’s social, and will adapt to living with other cats and dogs! We currently live with my roommates Labrador and we used to have another older cat. If you’re a cat lover I promise you she’ll love you equally.

Story
This special guy has been my world since I adopted him at 5 weeks old, however, a family member is extremely allergic to cats and I need to find a loving home for him quickly. If you are interested and can promise a loving home for him, please contact me. Brig is short for Brigadier, and is a loving and very affectionate male cat at 8 years old. He is a big teddy bear and has the biggest purr, too! His front paws are declawed and he is microchipped. He has been an indoor cat his whole life and must stay this way. He is timid and will often hide when the doorbell rings or when new people are in the home. He will eventually warm up to you and will love to take naps on your lap. He needs a playmate and will make friends with any other sweet kitty or puppy you may have. He is used to being brushed every day and has been going to the same veterinarian since he was a kitten. They have all of his vet records and I am happy to give you their contact information.

Story
Patience tippy taps her little white toes when you pet her; it is the cutest thing on the planet! She is a tad shy at first, but is also sweet, loving, and wants to be with people who love her. She is such a doll. And Patience has quite a story to tell. During her spay surgery at a high-volume city shelter, someone suspected that Patience had pneumonia, so she was slated for euthanasia. An x-ray was taken, which showed no pneumonia but reportedly showed a *severely* enlarged heart. Her surgery was completed and she was posted as "rescue only," which meant if a rescue group didn't quickly pull her, she would be euthanized. The Pet Connection knows that even big-hearted kitties can live happy lives with medical support, so we pulled out all the stops and saved Patience with not even a moment to spare. What a relief to know she was safe! Then we got Patience's medical records, including her x-ray, and had three different veterinarians take a look. None of them could see an enlarged heart, pneumonia, or ANYTHING wrong with this sweet, sweet baby girl! Now this special girl (with her regular-sized heart and but tippy tappy toes!) needs an extra special home. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Patience. She's in Beloit, KS, but transport is available to the right home.
