Story
Paisley is looking for her forever home! She is a very sweet, gentle, quiet young adult cat. She takes a little bit of time to warm up, but once she does, she is very affectionate, purrs a lot, loves rubbing on your legs, and enjoys pets. She also likes sitting on the cat tree looking out the window. She does hide a lot of the time, but that's just what helps her feel safe! She would probably do best in a calmer home. Paisley came to us with stones in her bladder and needed surgery to remove them. She is on a prescription urinary care food and would need to stay on urinary care food for life unless advised otherwise by a veterinarian. Apply to come meet Paisley at www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster for the quickest response!

Story
Sierra is a friendly and playful cat who loves belly rubs and scratches. She gets along well with other cats but is a bit sassy to them at times so would do fine on her own too. She is cuddly but gives love bites when she's overstimulated or has had enough. Sierra's favorite things include dry food and big stretches! She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots and tests. **Sierra is FIV positive. Her FIV+ status does not mean she cannot be around other cats. She would only be able to give FIV to another cat via a hard bite, so she would need to be introduced slowly and properly to ensure no aggression. Sierra lives with other cats currently with no aggression issues, only a little sass. Sierra is also on prescription gastrointestinal food and will need to stay on this diet unless advised otherwise by a vet. Come meet Sierra! Story
Jade is a particular, older lady who is very vocal and seeks out attention on her own terms. She can be affectionate when she wants to be. She loves to play and enjoys finding places to hide when she’s ready to rest. She came with another cat (Rory) whom she lived with before, but is indifferent towards them so would most likely be okay alone as well. Jade is front-paw declawed (not done by us at Pepper's Pals - we do not declaw). She also has early-stage kidney disease that will need to be cared for. Jade deserves a furever home to live out her golden years! For the fastest response, submit an application here: https://www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
Cleo is a sweet stray cat caring for three young kittens. She is such a good mom that she took in an abandoned kitten that wasn't hers! Now, Cleo is the leader of their little troupe, which includes her own two kittens as well. Often overshadowed by the three babies she takes care of, Cleo is such a gem of a cat! She is long and lanky and absolutely gorgeous. She is often found sitting on our back steps, patiently waiting for her next meal. If we don't respond fast enough, she likes to jump up onto the banister so she can speak to us at our eye level! In fact, she's a natural climber: whenever we find muddy paw prints on our car's hood, we know Cleo has been around. Cleo has sacrificed a lot for her kittens, but she deserves a safe and loving home, too! If we didn't have too many cats as it is, we would adopt Cleo in an instant! She is a very easygoing girl who has endless patience for her kittens' antics, though I'm certain she would enjoy being a solo cat, too.

Story
Turq is the perfect emotional support cat if you want a dog but can’t have one. He looks like a tough guy, but is a big softie with a heart of gold. He’s a 4 year old chonk of a cat with the strut of a bulldog & growls like a dog when he hears anyone outside (growls then runs away). Once he warms up to you, he loves to be held, squeaks when he meows and is a purr machine. He could spend all day curled up on your lap, behind your knees, or crushing ribs when he lays on your chest. I’ve really come to love this big guy, but I have 3 other cats and he and the other male have become very aggressive with each other, but he gets along well with the females. He would make an amazing companion animal and might do best in a quiet home with no small children where he’s either the only cat or the alpha and can receive all the love and attention he craves. He’s available to a good home with a very small rehoming fee just to ensure he’s valued (as he should be).

Story
I adopted Ruby when she was only 6 weeks old from the humane society. She is so shy and will keep to herself. We’ve had her for 5 years and my oldest is allergic we’ve managed her allergies but it’s gotten to the point where my daughter is doubling up on medicine and still not feeling her best. We are busy and believe Ruby needs a quieter environment and extra love. She comes with her fancy rotating litter box and we know she deserves better. She wants to be lovable but loud noises or any sudden movement makes her skittish. She has always been like this. But she is a relaxer she loves to hang out and chill. She will tell you if her food is low or needs more water. She wants to be petted on her terms but most of the time she is perfectly content just stretchy nearby.
