Story
Jacob is a loving and curious cat who loves to snuggle with anyone who will let him. He's about 2 years old, and we've had him since he was about 3 months old. He's an indoor cat and is litter box trained, but he also doesn't mind going outside (we sometimes take him on walks in a harness and leash). He has three legs because of an accident that led to him needing his right arm surgically amputated in the fall of 2024, but you would never be able to tell because he has adapted to the change quite well (he can run, jump, climb stairs, etc - he needs no special care at all). We have small kids in the house, and he has been around many dogs before, all with no issues. The only reason we are looking to rehome him is because I recently changed jobs and we can no longer justify the cost of keeping him in our home (food, litter, annual vet visits, etc).

Story
Sunny (foster to adopt)'s Story Sunny was returned after 5 years due to allergies and a move. He has been absolutely heartbroken and we want to make sure his next home is for the rest of his life!!! Due to some ongoing redness in his eyes, we are looking for a foster to adopt home that would adopt him once this medical issue is resolved. His vet is in West Lafayette. Sunny has some separation anxiety and takes an inexpensive daily supplement in a Churu! Fill out the adoption application if interested in learning more about the Sunny and if he might be the right fit for your home! https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ Information about Sunny! This handsome boy is 7 years old and has the perfect balance of playful energy and loving affection. He’ll zoom around the house chasing toys one minute, then curl up in your lap the next, soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He’s incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and isn’t shy about asking for pets—he’ll even greet new people with friendly curiosity and instant affection. With his gentle nature and big personality, he’s truly the best companion you could ever hope for, ready to bring joy, comfort, and endless love to his new home. He comes with his own cat carrier and all his favorite toys to help him feel settled right away. Sunny has previously lived with another cat, but it's years, has no experience with dogs, and would not recommended for kids under teenage.

Cleopatra's Story This kitty is in foster care! Fill out the adoption application if interested in meeting her https://mynewcat.org/adopt-a-cat/adoption-application/ Cleopatra — Queen of Cozy Meet Cleopatra, a five-year-old royal beauty whose kingdom consists of soft blankets, warm laps, and anyone willing to provide gentle adoration. Recently surrendered after her beloved human passed away, Cleo is now looking for a new throne to reign from—a home full of calm, comfort, and cuddle opportunities. Cleo is a plump, happy girl with mesmerizing blue-green eyes that refuse to fully show off on camera but sparkle in person. Her favorite pastime? Greeting you at the door like royalty receiving her subjects—then flopping dramatically at your feet and rolling around in an irresistible “please adore me” performance. She loves pets, snuggles, and lounging in luxurious softness. She does have a polite way of saying “that’s enough, thank you”—a gentle nibble if booty scratches or belly rubs go past her comfort zone. She’s not sassy; she’s just setting boundaries like the dignified queen she is. Cleo has lived peacefully with dogs when introduced slowly. She recently had a dental procedure and is feeling fantastic—ready to enjoy her new life with fewer teeth and more treats. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with charm, character, and a touch of royal flair, Cleo is ready to move into your palace and your heart.

Story
We are looking to rehome our cat Tonks. We found her in 2018 as a kitten. A few years after adopting her, one of our kids develped severe cat allegies. She currently lives in one room in our house and we'd love her to go somewhere she can have a better life for that reason. She's shy with new people but once she warms up she's friendly, sleeps on the bed with my daughter, loves pets and has a loud purr. She uses the litter box well and is easy going. She does not particularly like other cats or dogs but if they leave her alone she's fine. She currently lives peacefully in a house with two dogs. We really want her to find a family to love on her!

These cats are in Crawfordsville, Indiana too!
