Story
George is a gorgeous, friendly, playful, and fun, two-year-old, nine-pound, patch tabby cat with golden/green eyes looking for a loving guardian. George is as friendly as they come. He’s great with people of all ages, dogs, and cats (with proper introduction of course)! He loves every toy he’s ever played with. He has perfect litter box skills (whether you have a top entry litter box, or a fancy litter robot). He’s just a joy to share a home with. He is also a very healthy eater of only canned food and his adoption will include plenty of all his favorite foods! George is extremely healthy, neutered, fecal-tested, de-wormed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, virus-tested negative, and microchipped. He even had a dental cleaning and had to have a broken canine tooth pulled. If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting George, please fill in the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ and follow up by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com His adoption fee is $175 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Story
If eyes are the window to the soul, then Tommy's soul must be very deep and rich, with his captivating green eyes! While it will take time to get to know Tommy and connect with his soul, once you do, you will have the unbeatable reward of his devotion and love. Tommy's foster mom took that journey with him and has transformed him from a confused and frightened cat to a loving and faithful companion. Now Tommy’s first love is not treats, food or toys. He just loves to be loved. He is content to lay by his foster mom for as long as she will rub his body. He is expanding his trust now and beginning to get used to new people visiting him. There are still things that frighten him (loud noises, quick movements). Frightening things may bring out a hiss, but it is quickly accompanied by a very kitten like meow. Once his foster mom’s hand hand touches him, he melts. He goes into a Zen state as his foster mom rubs his face, and head and is no hurry to leave her side. Tommy will do best in a quiet and stable home with no cats or children. Tommy is afraid of the foster’s cat but will walk freely around her quiet dog. He is an extremely clean cat, his litter box habits are the cleanest his foster mom has seen. His adopter must be an experienced cat person who is patient and understanding. It is crucial to allow Tommy the time and space he requires to acclimate to his new environment and develop a trust in his new person. Once that trust is established and you have touched his soul, Tommy will be a very loving companion Adoption fee is a minimum $55 per senior cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Story
Hi there, I’m Korrie. I’m a beautiful tabby, gray and brown with distinct black stripes. I’ve got a pencil-eraser nose and luminous green eyes, and I'm a petite gal overall. I’m young, maybe 1-2 years old. My most unique feature is my tail. I've got a curl in my tail - it folds back on itself in a "U" shape right near the end - so cute! It looks like I'm beckoning to you! I am still a kitten at heart and I have lots of playful energy. I have a daily routine established at my foster home that I like to follow. In the morning and evening following mealtime, I have the zoomies and like to run around the house batting around my toys and scaling my cat tree. In the afternoon, I like to settle in for a nice long nap in my cat tree, mesmerized by the views outside the window. In the nighttime, I enjoy hopping into bed with my foster family for some cuddle time. While I never pester you for attention and can still be a litte skittish at times, when I am in the mood, I enjoy all of the petting I receive. I like chin and cheek rubs and forehead scratches and long strokes down my back. I purr, make biscuits, and follow your hand with my head to get more. The scritches on my shoulder blades, wow, that’s amazing! And of course, I do “elevator butt” when you rub down my back. When the time is right, I enjoy curling up next to you for some nice petting sessions. As far as other animals, I get along fine with the male and female cats in my foster home. The male cat and I are chase buddies - we get the zoomies and run around together. The female cat does her own thing. There was a dog in my prior foster home, so I got used to his barking, but we didn't interact much. I would also be happy being your only pet., as long as you are home enough to give me good attention. I enjoy meeting new people and will be happy to greet your guests. I have not been around young children, but will be happy to meet school age children or older. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information.

Story
Lyndsay is a sweet and gentle 7 month old gray tabby & white kitten girl. She is a bit cautious initially and takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she is comfortable, she loves attention including lots of petting and lap sitting. She does nose to nose with her foster mom - a very loving kitten! Lyndsay eats dry and wet food, loves fresh water and treats, and uses the litter box like a champ. She loves to play in the cat tunnel with her siblings, enjoys a good wrestling match with her sister, Lyssa, and is happy chasing a ball, toy mouse or string around. Lyndsay needs to be adopted with her sister Lyssa, as Lyssa brings out the playful nature in Lyndsay. They are a great complementary pair - Lyndsay, the cuddler, and Lyssa, the energetic player. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Story
Finnegan, Finn for short is a wonderful cat, that has been through a lot. Finn has Stomatitis, a disease that causes his gums to react to the tartar on his teeth and become very sore and inflamed. To eliminate this, he has had all but his two teeth removed. He is in otherwise great health, super affectionate and eats like all the other fosters in the house, without a problem. He loves to lay on his back across his foster parent's chest and receive belly rubs. His foster family decided to adopt his brother Mickey, Finn would be suited best in a home where he had loads of love and attention and no other animals._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Finn is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET FinnThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Finn and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Hello, my name is Mary Jane but you can call me MJ. My foster mom says I'm a stunning girl with striking green eyes and unique markings. I say I'm just an average girl looking for her forever home. I was found living outside with a bunch of feral cats, however, the humans noticed I am too friendly to be feral. It's taking me a while to get used to all the smells, sights and sounds of my foster home. I get a little jumpy sometimes, but that is to be expected. Like a lot of cats, I'm not a fan of being picked up or handled. Now, belly rubs and pets, I'll accept those all day and night! I'm also starting to play. My foster home has other cats looking for their forever families. I'm fine with them. I am getting more confidence every day. If you adopt me and give me time to adjust, I promise to be a wonderful family member. Love, Mary Jane.I would also love it if I could be adopted with my BFF Norman._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Mary Jane is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET Mary JaneThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Mary Jane and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Parker is a fun-loving, young black cat who enjoys playing with the other kitties in her foster home. She is a sweetie and a beauty, yet no one has expressed interest in adopting Parker. Did you know black cats (and dogs) are harder to adopt out? They shouldn't be because they are awesome! Please give Parker a chance. She has been in foster care since she was a young kitten._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Parker is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET ParkerThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Parker and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes.
