Story
Sydney is a senior cat. She needs extra care and love that we currently cannot give her. She has not adjusted well to our second addition to our family. We have tried to medicate her to ease her anxiety but it has not worked. She would thrive in a house with minimal people and no kids. We got her 10 years ago. And she lived 6 years in peace with two adults. Adding another cat and 2 kids in the mix has given her immense stress. We want to provide her a life that we cannot give her.

Story
Appleton is a handsome brown tabby boy with exquisite fur markings who was born in August 2024. While he has always been gentle, Appleton started off extremely shy and scared, and it took a lot of time to earn his trust. Through lots of love, patience and gentle persistence, his foster mom is extremely proud at how much progress he continues to make. There will be a transition period to a new home, but once the adjustments are made, he will win over your heart! Appleton welcomes chin/ head pets, will occasionally sit on laps, and loves to be rewarded with treats! He will roll around on the floor by our feet as his meals are being prepared and stretches out as long as he possibly can to show he is excited for his meal. Appleton gets along well with other cats. He needs a welcoming resident cat in his new home who will show him the ropes and be his buddy. Sudden movements still do scare him, so a calm, quiet environment would be best. His favorite thing to do is play with plastic cat springs and with any toys that allow him to show off his amazing jumping skills. Patience and persistence are the key to his heart. Your dedication will be well rewarded though, as anyone can see the love Appleton has in his eyes that he so desperately wants to give once he knows he is safe and loved! All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $150 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! If you are interested in meeting and adopting one of our cats please email: gotfriendlies@gmail.com Our cats and kittens are in private foster homes and need a completed questionnaire before an appointment can be made to meet them. All of our cats/kittens are in foster homes throughout DuPage County. We consider adopters within a reasonable driving distance.

Story
Sam is a sweet and gentle 1.5 year old orange boy who likes to be in the middle of whatever you, or his brother, Coal, are doing. He loves his feather wand and will jump up high to get it when playing. Sam is vocal and will give you lots of merps and meows to tell you what’s on his mind. Sam and Coal are a bonded pair who have been together their whole life and need to be adopted together. They are easy to handle and don’t mind being picked up and carried around, or having their nails trimmed. Both are excellent at the vet. Sam and Coal would love a home where they can be part of your family, look out the windows to see the birds, and curl up in your lap while you watch TV. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Story
Korrie is a social, friendly and confident 1-2 yr old petite young lady. She enjoys meeting new people and will be happy to greet your guests. She is not demanding of attention. At times, she likes hanging out with her people and being part of the action. At other times, she is happy to entertain herself by chasing around a toy mouse, or curling up in the sun for a nice nap. A tabby girl with prominent black stripes, Korrie's distinguishing feature is her unique tail. It folds back on itself in a "U" shape right near the end, so it looks like she is beckoning to you! She also has luminous green eyes. True to her feminine nature, Korrie will let you know when she is in the mood for affection and can sometimes play hard to get. When she is in the mood, she enjoys all of the petting she receives, including chin and cheek rubs, forehead scratches and long strokes down her back. She purrs, makes biscuits, and follows your hand with her head to get more. Korrie would likely be happiest as your one and only pet. She gets along with other cats, but likes to be the center of attention. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Story
Dede is a beautiful torbie girl who’s around 2 years old. She is a gentle soul with bright green eyes and unique patches of brown tabby mixed with orange and white, She loves sunbathing in the window in her foster room and snuggling with her foster mom after a long day of work. When she’s really relaxed, she rolls over on her back, exposing the two orange patches hiding on her belly! She is a big love bug, but it will be important for her adopter to have patience, because she is shy and startles easily. Dede would love to have a feline friend (or more!) in her new home to keep her company. She does well with the 9 year old and 13 year old children in her foster home, but would likely not appreciate the energy and unpredictability of younger children. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply!
