Story
Rain is a male cat that is very loving and sweet. He is 5 years old. He is very much loved and must go to someone who will love him and no other cats in the house. I have 4 male cats total. Back in September 2024 Rain started to urinate outside of his litter box. I took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with an urinary tract infection and started on antibiotics. But he continued. Went back to vet and was told to rearrange litter boxes and move them throughout the levels. Also was started on some anxiety medication. But that did not work. The veterinarian then did further workup and discovered he had stones in his bladder. We started him on special diet and more medication and surgery to remove the stones. But within one week Rain started to urinate back in the old spots he went to before. I have locked him into a separate room away from the other cats and he will urinate fine in his litter box with no issues. I am asking for a caring person who can Rehome Rain by himself.

Story
Sydney is a senior cat. She needs extra care and love that we currently cannot give her. She has not adjusted well to our second addition to our family. We have tried to medicate her to ease her anxiety but it has not worked. She would thrive in a house with minimal people and no kids. We got her 10 years ago. And she lived 6 years in peace with two adults. Adding another cat and 2 kids in the mix has given her immense stress. We want to provide her a life that we cannot give her.

Story
Appleton is a handsome brown tabby boy with exquisite fur markings who was born in August 2024. While he has always been gentle, Appleton started off extremely shy and scared, and it took a lot of time to earn his trust. Through lots of love, patience and gentle persistence, his foster mom is extremely proud at how much progress he continues to make. There will be a transition period to a new home, but once the adjustments are made, he will win over your heart! Appleton welcomes chin/ head pets, will occasionally sit on laps, and loves to be rewarded with treats! He will roll around on the floor by our feet as his meals are being prepared and stretches out as long as he possibly can to show he is excited for his meal. Appleton gets along well with other cats. He needs a welcoming resident cat in his new home who will show him the ropes and be his buddy. Sudden movements still do scare him, so a calm, quiet environment would be best. His favorite thing to do is play with plastic cat springs and with any toys that allow him to show off his amazing jumping skills. Patience and persistence are the key to his heart. Your dedication will be well rewarded though, as anyone can see the love Appleton has in his eyes that he so desperately wants to give once he knows he is safe and loved! All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $150 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! If you are interested in meeting and adopting one of our cats please email: gotfriendlies@gmail.com Our cats and kittens are in private foster homes and need a completed questionnaire before an appointment can be made to meet them. Story
Sam is a sweet and gentle 1.5 year old orange boy who likes to be in the middle of whatever you, or his brother, Coal, are doing. He loves his feather wand and will jump up high to get it when playing. Sam is vocal and will give you lots of merps and meows to tell you what’s on his mind. Sam and Coal are a bonded pair who have been together their whole life and need to be adopted together. They are easy to handle and don’t mind being picked up and carried around, or having their nails trimmed. Both are excellent at the vet. Sam and Coal would love a home where they can be part of your family, look out the windows to see the birds, and curl up in your lap while you watch TV. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. Story
Korrie is a social, friendly and confident 1-2 yr old petite young lady. She enjoys meeting new people and will be happy to greet your guests. She is not demanding of attention. At times, she likes hanging out with her people and being part of the action. At other times, she is happy to entertain herself by chasing around a toy mouse, or curling up in the sun for a nice nap. A tabby girl with prominent black stripes, Korrie's distinguishing feature is her unique tail. It folds back on itself in a "U" shape right near the end, so it looks like she is beckoning to you! She also has luminous green eyes. True to her feminine nature, Korrie will let you know when she is in the mood for affection and can sometimes play hard to get. When she is in the mood, she enjoys all of the petting she receives, including chin and cheek rubs, forehead scratches and long strokes down her back. She purrs, makes biscuits, and follows your hand with her head to get more. Korrie would likely be happiest as your one and only pet. She gets along with other cats, but likes to be the center of attention. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Meet Ellery & Opal – The Dynamic Duo You Didn’t Know You Needed! Looking for double the love, laughter, and loyalty? Meet Ellery, the playful heart of the duo, and her sweet sister Opal, the gentle soul who completes the pair. Ellery is a little firecracker with a heart of gold. She’s smart, affectionate, and always up for a game of fetch—especially if it’s with her favorite Poms (2nd to her love for whipped cream!). She’s the kind of dog who’ll keep you laughing with her goofy antics and then melt into your lap for cuddles. Opal, her inseparable sister, brings a calming balance to Ellery’s energetic spirit. She’s loving, observant, and finds joy in the simple things, like lounging by your side or quietly watching Ellery be, well, Ellery. Their bond is something special—Opal cheers Ellery on during playtime and Ellery always circles back to check on her sister. They’ve grown up side-by-side, and we’re hoping they’ll find a forever home where they

Story
Hello, my name is Cinderella and I'm a grey tabby with hints of brown & honey fur. I'm a really pretty girl but on the older side. Some folks like the younger kittens so hopefully when you read my profile you'll be interested in me. I am 10 years young.I was found as a stray. Nobody knows how I got out in the wintertime but I'm so glad someone turned me and brought me to a local animal control. Maybe because I'm so friendly it was easy for my rescuer to bring me in. I was definitely someone's kitty at one time.My foster family took me to a vet and the kitty doctor said for gal my (estimated) age that my tests passed with flying colors! That's great news ... and I didn't even have to study for those tests (blood tests).I'm a chatty girl and I like to be held. My favorite place is your lap. If you like to sit and watch TV or read, I'll make a great companion. Maybe because my bones are a bit older, young kids I should have a caution and/or younger cats.I'm in a foster home that has other cats. I don't mind them, but I prefer my human better. Even though I'm in my "mature" years I have a lot of spunk. I love to play and be silly. I like when my foster Mom plays with me. I grab her hand, so she doesn't stop. I love all the attention.I hope one day I will have a family again. I hope someone will give a mature gal like me a chance for a forever home. I may have many years ahead and I would love to have my journey start with you. Can't wait for us to meet!Love,CinderellaCinderellais located in our foster home in Aurora. Story
Hello! They call me Thumper. I am 1 years old, and I am a medium haired grey kitty girl. I'm somewhat shy but if you give me time and know how to bribe me (kitty treats!) I will be on your lap.I've learned while being in my foster home that the other kitties come to my foster family for affection. I say to myself Oh, I wish I could do that too. I watch and watch and guess what? I have started to come around and be closer to people in the past week. One day I got so brave I hopped on my foster Moms lap when she was watching TV. They call that baby steps but for a shy girl like me it's like one giant step. I like it when my foster Mom brushes my pretty fur. That's how my coat is so shiny and healthy. Also, I like it when me & my sister Po plus the other kitty girls hang out together. We have one big kitty pile and we groom each other. Got to stay pretty so our family's can see us.I hope when you come to visit me and choose me as your new pet my new family will be understanding on my shyness and can understand that time & patience for me to come to you. I know you'll have a lap waiting for me.Ill tell some secrets my foster Mom learned about me to build my trust. Classical music calms down and I LOVE Made by Nacho treats, well really any treats get this girl motivated!Know what I also love? My sister Po. You might have seen the pictures of me cuddling with a white kitty. That's Po. She's braver than me and I hope when a family comes to meet me, they can also meet Po and maybe we can go together. Two kitties are a blast to have and I will always have a best friend. Actually, I will have 2 BFs - my sister and my new family!Xoxo,ThumperThumper and Po are located in our foster home in Hanover Park. To meet Thumper, please complete an adoption application.https://treasuredanimalrescueinc.org/application-cat-adoption/Thumper's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, snap test (negative) and all vaccines.Thank you for choosing to adopt!
