Story
BLUEBELL IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! If you’re a fan of gray felines—also known as blue cats—you should meet Bluebell. She’s special. She has that unique silver-gray color that is so striking. Like most solid gray cats she has an undeniable elegance. If she was human, she would be royalty. Princess Bluebell has a ring to it—don’t you think so?👑 Bell is approximately 4-years-old. We don’t generally broadcast a lady’s age, but she won’t mind in this case, since you’re a potential subject. She is spayed—so you won’t be surprised by little princelings—has age appropriate vaccines, has a microchip in case she misplaces herself, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. This lovely lady is now in foster, being waited on hand and foot. I hesitate to mention it, but she has been treated for parasites—not that she had any, but I don’t think she would appreciate me even suggesting that princesses could possibly have parasites! Yuck. Story
ADOPT MAGGIE MAE! Maggie Mae was a cat that was locked in the house alone after the residents were forced by circumstances to vaccate the home. We sent out an urgent plea for a temporary foster, and a caring family stepped up and has done a fine job of fostering Maggie. Her temporary mom has written a descriptive piece in the way of describing Maggie for you. See the paragraph below written by her foster: “She is doing well. She is SO sweet. She talks and purrs and loves attention! She will be great for someone who wants a cat that is people oriented. She is sweeter than our 4 cats, but don’t tell them that! She loves to play with balls and other small objects, loves dry food, wet food, and treats. She is terrified of the robot litter box, so her adopter won’t have to spend money on one of those. I’m not sure if she has been around other animals. She is most at ease with our dog, she will come up to her and they sniff noses. She freely roams the whole house now, and our cats have given her plenty of space, but if they are within 3 feet of her she hisses. She may do ok with just one cat and just more time to get used to it.” HJC: She had a companion cat in her first home, but would need a slow introduction to a cat new to her…and they to her. Our understanding is that Maggie is an exceptionally nice cat: people-oriented, friendly, sweet, playful, and laid back. With an adult cat, you know what you’re getting. With a kitten, you don’t. Story
Sassy came to Happy Jack Cats without a lot of background information. When she was found she was scared of everyone and everything. She has learned to be part of a family and trust humans with encouragement from her fellow foster brothers and sisters. Sassy is a very sweet shy girl at first and warms up when she gets to know you. She loves to play with the other foster kittens and has come to accept that human love and affection is the best kind. Running around playing with toys and chasing laser pointers is her favorite activities. Sassy will do best in a home with no children and low noise. She does well around other cats and would best for her to integrate into her new family.
