I have saved 78 neo natal kittens from death, bottle feeding them all with round the clock care. Dottie is one of those lucky survivors. Her sister died, and she survived death twice. She is a true miracle. I called her Dorothy (Dottie for short) as the name means miracle, PLUS she has a spot marking on top of her head. She is a gentle soul, shy and loves peace n quiet. She tolerates other pets, but truly needs to be a lone cat in her home. Unfortunately our household currently has 1 rescue dog and 2 other rescue cats. One rescue cat came later and Dottie and her do not get along. This is too much for Dottie, as she spends most of her time trying to find quiet hidden spots away from the mayhem. Dottie is 5 yrs old, spayed and healthy with amazing green eyes. I want to find her a home where she can have the lifestyle that she needs to be happy. She deserves to be in a quiet home. Meet Hera, we found her wandering outside in our apartment community and we were unable to locate her owner as she did not have a collar or microchip. She is litter box trained and is very affectionate. She can be a little shy at first, but once she is warmed up to you she is very sweet and purrs a lot. Lily was a Mother's Day gift to me in 2019 when she was just 3 months old. My husband adopted her from the local humane society, and she was one of the best surprises I've ever received. I have always had cats, but she has been the best cat I've ever had. She is kind, gentle, intuitive, and so loving. She comes to greet everyone and loves cuddles and scratches. She likes to sunbathe, and people watch out the window. I have three kids, and she is usually at the center of play. She has never hissed, scratched, or even attempted to bite anyone. Unfortunately, my youngest child (seen in the picture) was diagnosed with asthma and has a weak respiratory system, so we have been dealing with back-to-back illnesses. After trying everything, we determined that she is one of the triggers. She is used to a lot of love, affection, and being spoiled. My only hope is that we find her a home just the same.
