Story
Alfred is a rescue. He was born with 5 siblings in my parents garage almost 9 years ago and has had a loving home ever since. He is both an indoor/outdoor cat but primarily indoor. He is a people cat, meaning he just loves being around people, whether you're sleeping or playing he wants to be around you. I'm looking for someone to give him the comfort he needs, and it's not much. he's not a dog so he doesn't need to go for walks or let out for the restroom but he needs to be around a cat friendly and loving home. Cat lovers just get cats, he can be extremely annoying to anyone else and that doesn't mesh the best. He has had a history of being picked on by other pets/animals so I know he can be scared around them or defensive but if the other animals are laid back he is too.

Story
WANTED: An experienced cat lover who’s versed in self-absorbed cat antics. Meet STEWIE. He’s a smart and a hugely endearing furball. 12ish years old. FIV+ (not FELV), vaccinated, neutered, litterbox trained. He’s beautiful and he knows it. Has more expectations of you than your mother. Will tell you about his day with “mehs” instead of meows. Best as a single cat in a home with no kiddos. He lost his owner after she passed away and has been voicing his disapproval to his current foster about his situation, ever since. A situation that will change soon since his foster cannot keep him due to family illness. He enjoys holding your lap hostage until he no longer has use for it. Will claim items as “his”, regardless of whether you need them. A downright hedonist LOVE PIG, but will make it clear when he’s over it, and needs someone who’s patient, cat savvy, and understanding of his moods. Stewie's a good boy, very lovable, and deserves a peaceful home and a better life.

I love this cat a lot. The chances of someone being right for him is slim. But... he bullys my other cats. If there is a unicorn out there that have no kids or other cats and you can convince me you'll love him forever... maybe I can part with him. But probably not. But Im also desperate for cat peace. Uhg worst pitch ever

Story
Joyce has been a loved part of our home for 6 years, but due to life changes we’re no longer able to give her the time and attention she deserves. Our goal is to find her a home where she can truly thrive. She has lived with both cats and dogs. She does well with small dogs and can adjust to larger dogs and cats with time. She’s not very playful, but she’s incredibly affectionate and will always find her way into your lap for snuggles. She loves curling up near your feet at night or lounging on the back of the couch (bonus: she may groom your hair!). Joyce is also quite vocal and will happily remind you when it’s mealtime. She is litter box trained and prefers not fully enclosed boxes. Recently, she has had occasional accidents after being left alone for long periods, which we believe is related to stress or needing more companionship. We feel Joyce would do best in a home where someone is around more often to give her the love and attention she craves.

Story
All sugar and no spice, Lady Tutt is as sweet as they come! She’ll greet you with the cutest little meow and loves spending her days birdwatching from the window or napping in a cozy bed (or classic cardboard box). She’s a perfect mix of independent and affectionate — always happy to be near you and even happier when it’s time for laser pointer play or a catnip break. She is the perfect mix of independent and snuggly, always excited to get attention but also more than happy to just be near you. With a calm environment, gentle handling, and time to build trust, Lady Tutt has shown she can truly shine. She does have a few medical needs, so a quick chat with our vet will help make sure it’s the right match. I’m currently thriving in a loving foster home! To learn more about me and set up a meet and greet, please email info@catcaresociety.org. You’ll receive an overview of any medical or behavioral disclaimers to review before scheduling an in-person meeting.

Story
Nookie is a 11-year-old senior gal looking for a quiet home to give her an unlimited supply of cat nip, toys, and all the sunny spots she can lay in. She takes a bit to warm up to new folks, but will inevitably start asking you for pets and scritches once she's comfortable. Nookie's ideal home will be one with no other cats or an independent cat that will give her the space she needs to do her own thing and that can accommodate all of her medical needs which CCS staff will be happy to go over with an eager potential adopter. Meet a Lonely Hearts Club Member! Looking for an extra-special kitty? Our Lonely Hearts Club highlights cats who deserve a little extra love and attention. These cats may be overlooked because of their age, medical or behavioral needs, or simply haven’t found the right home yet but they all have so much love to give.

Story
Meet Luna The Great! Luna is a gentle, loving 9-year-old gal who would thrive as the only cat in her new home. She has a quirky personality, loves being groomed, watching cat TV, and appreciates pets and human companionship. While she had some litter box challenges in her previous home, she has been a model kitty at the shelter and in foster with no recent accidents! Good job Luna! Luna is currently working on a weight loss journey and receives a daily oral medication along with a monthly injection. With her sweet personality and calm demeanor, Luna is looking for a patient, loving family to give her the quiet, cozy home she deserves. Her purr-fect home will be one where she is the only cat and can help continue Luna's journey to a healthy weight and accommodate her other medical needs. CCS staff will be more than happy to show any potential adopters what her medical care will entail. I’m currently thriving in a loving foster home! To learn more about me and set up a meet and greet, please email info@catcaresociety.org.
