Story
I adopted waffles when he was a newborn kitten. I rescued him. He’s a few years old now. He’s so unbelievably loving and warm and gentle. He loves to lie around and purrs uncontrollably. He’s also kind of funny because he’s sort of chatty not whiny but chatty he likes to say hello hello with his little meows and he even comes to me like a dog would come to me when they’re called. Super healthy. He’s grown up around my service dog. If I wasn’t moving out of country and I could take him with me, then I would. But I have to go for work.

Story
Grace is 7 years old and spayed, shots up to date. She's not familiar with dogs and other cats. She's more feral than a homebody. Loves to be outside but comes in @night. Very sweet, her ear is clipped because she's feral. Last place I lived she had to stay in at all times. Reason says relocating but in reality I'm recently homeless. I have another one I'm going to put up for adoption as well. Grace isn't a cat to snuggle or pick up although she loves attention and especially combing and brushing. I can't stand giving them up but to keep them in my car or in an enclosure or carrier is cruel. It breaks my heart ... I hope to find someone who loves her as I do. I'll be leaving here upon finding homes for them. I love these cats with all my heart, but to keep them locked up is more cruel than my desire to be selfish. Please consider having Gracie part of your family. Toys, treats, paperwork and carrier go with her. I got her as a kitten from a colony in VA, again outside is her one love.

Story
Meet Lupine! Lupine is a young affectionate female Tabby/Torbie (with a few cream-colored toes!) who’s looking for a loving forever home. She’s now approximately 11 months old, housetrained and great with her litterbox; also spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her kitty shots and vet care. Lupine loves to purr and get head scratches. She’s also playful and very smart. She loves to watch squirrels out on the deck through the French doors, and is fascinated by reflections in the windows. She’s also a big fan of TV. Sit in bed with a laptop watching YouTube and she’ll want to be in your lap focusing on all the screen action — especially if you pull up an aquarium or bird video! Lupine’s kitty superpower is her ability to leap into the sky (well, not really.... but she can jump up to a high window ledge from the floor, and she can leap two feet in the air to catch a feather wand toy!). We think she'd love a high kitty tower. Lupine is adoptable either alone or with her adorable baby, Blackberry. Adopting two kitties at the same time means more fun -- plus they’ll happily sleep, eat, and play together all day and when you’re out and about. We're recommending a home with no kids under the age of 10, please and thanks. Lupine is being fostered in the Boulder area. Also, Blackberry and Lupine have their very own YouTube video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8vuDjupFng&t=4s For more info and/or to apply to adopt Lupine (either individually or with her baby Blackberry) send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.
