Story
We got Adele a month ago from the Dumb Friends League. She is a super sweet and affectionate cat. Unfortunately, she does not get along with our resident cat and we are not able to work through the integration period any longer to make it work. Adele did great with my 8 & 9 year old niece and nephew. She is very playful and really smart. She is 8 years old. Vet said she is in good condition, maybe just slightly overweight and some mild tartar build up on her back teeth. Honestly, it makes me sad to rehome her, but I think she would do better in a home where she is the only cat. She will make whoever adapts her very happy!

Story
We found this beautiful cat living under our front porch during the below freezing temperatures in Denver last weekend. He is currently living in our basement because we have several other pets in the house. He is a very easy going cat that enjoys being pet. We have tried to find his owners through his microchip with no success. His appearance is very healthy and we would be happy to help with initial veterinary costs (vaccinations).

Story
Woozle is a senior Kitty (approximately 17 years old). We have loved him, and he has loved us, since he was 9 weeks old. Although he is of age, Woozle is energetic during his waking hours. He's always been a house cat as his front paws have been declawed. We had a large second story deck in his first 10 years of his life and he enjoyed being out on the deck soaking in the sun. Although our children were responsible for their pets, they grew up and left for school and now have their own pets and their careers. Of course, their pets became our second set of children. Woozle grew up and lived with our rescue pets, a female cat Bamboozle and a female dog (Chloe). They were pals until the passing of Chloe and Bamboozle. The main cause for our search for another home for Woozle is due to severe allergies. Medical solutions have not helped. Woozle would do best in a quiet home, with someone who has caring hands and a warm lap. Let us know if this might be you. Thank you!

Story
This cat was adopted by my mother when she was a kitten. She is now about 3 years old. Unfortunately, we had to move my mother to a retirement/assisted living because of health reasons. Myself and my husband have been taking care of her. She has never been around other animals or children. She would be a good companion for an adult/adults. Just looking for a good home for her to go to. She is spayed and is microchipped.

Story
This is one of the hardest letters we’ve ever had to write, but our love for our sweet girl means doing what’s best for her. We are looking for a warm, loving home for our wonderful cat, we call "Kitty," where she can truly thrive and be her happiest self. Kitty is an incredibly affectionate and outgoing kitty who loves being around people. She greets guests with confidence, never hiding away but instead welcoming them with her charming personality. She adores attention, enjoys snuggling up close, and will happily keep you company throughout your day. Unfortunately, despite our deep love for her, we’ve come to realize that our home is not the best fit for her. We have a dog, and while we had hoped they would grow to be comfortable together, she simply isn’t as happy as she deserves to be in this environment. We want her to have a home where she feels completely at ease, without stress or worry. She is in excellent health, fully vet

Story
Hey, I'm Pippa CCS's longest stay resident! I'm a 6-year-old girl with a spice for life and an attitude to match. I love to play with string toys that help bring out my hunting instincts. I appreciate pets and can be pretty food motivated. I'm an independent gal who likes my space but I'm a big softie at heart. Shelter staff have noted my quirky personality, and not a day goes by that I don't make someone laugh. I would do best with an experienced cat owner who will let me do my own thing and love me as I am. A quiet, routine home with no kids or pets would suit me best! The shelter staff will happily answer any questions you may have about me. Please come visit me today!

Hi, I'm Lil Milo! I'm a sweet and adorable 11-year-old boy looking for a quiet home. I am affectionate and love to play, but can be independent and appreciate my alone time. I am FIV+, but don't let that stop you- I am a happy and healthy boy and I can't wait to meet you! I have had a pretty hard time finding a home that's just right for me and because of this, I am part of the Lonely Hearts Program! This program is specially designed to help special kitties like myself get adopted! Consider taking me home with you today!

Story
Mia is a queen in search of her castle as she prefers to be the only cat but might tolerate a laid-back dog who respects her space. She’s a talkative, affectionate girl who enjoys perching on cat towers and lounging in cozy beds while you go about your day. She's particular about how she receives affection, but communication is key in all great relationships, and she'll happily let you know how she likes to be loved. If you're looking for a loving companion who will always be by your side, Mia might just be your perfect match! 💕 📧 Email info@catcaresociety.org to set up a meet-and-greet with her foster!
