Story
Pepper is about 4 years old and has a rambunctious and loving personality. He is extremely cuddly, and would sit in someone's lap all day if he could. He is also very active, and loves to play and chase after toys. Pepper is also very smart and trainable. He can sit on command and walk on a leash (with treats for motivation). Pepper does have some separation anxiety, and he will let you know if he is not getting enough attention. He can be vocal if he is anxious or bored. I've had luck with feliway cat diffusers to help with this. Pepper loves to explore, and would be happy with someone who has the time to play and explore with him. I think he would be happy as an indoor/outdoor cat so he doesn't get bored. Unfortunately I have a busy schedule and I can't give him the attention he deserves. While I know we aren't the best fit for each other, I have grown to love Pepper and I want to make sure he finds the best home possible!

Story
We got Adele a month ago from the Dumb Friends League. She is a super sweet and affectionate cat. Unfortunately, she does not get along with our resident cat and we are not able to work through the integration period any longer to make it work. Adele did great with my 8 & 9 year old niece and nephew. She is very playful and really smart. She is 8 years old. Vet said she is in good condition, maybe just slightly overweight and some mild tartar build up on her back teeth. Honestly, it makes me sad to rehome her, but I think she would do better in a home where she is the only cat. She will make whoever adapts her very happy!

Story
We found this beautiful cat living under our front porch during the below freezing temperatures in Denver last weekend. He is currently living in our basement because we have several other pets in the house. He is a very easy going cat that enjoys being pet. We have tried to find his owners through his microchip with no success. His appearance is very healthy and we would be happy to help with initial veterinary costs (vaccinations).

Story
Woozle is a senior Kitty (approximately 17 years old). We have loved him, and he has loved us, since he was 9 weeks old. Although he is of age, Woozle is energetic during his waking hours. He's always been a house cat as his front paws have been declawed. We had a large second story deck in his first 10 years of his life and he enjoyed being out on the deck soaking in the sun. Although our children were responsible for their pets, they grew up and left for school and now have their own pets and their careers. Of course, their pets became our second set of children. Woozle grew up and lived with our rescue pets, a female cat Bamboozle and a female dog (Chloe). They were pals until the passing of Chloe and Bamboozle. The main cause for our search for another home for Woozle is due to severe allergies. Medical solutions have not helped. Woozle would do best in a quiet home, with someone who has caring hands and a warm lap. Let us know if this might be you. Thank you!

Who are our Working Cats? Some cats are not social enough to live as indoor pets, and prefer an independent lifestyle. These cats have experience living outdoors and are proficient mousers. Since these kitties are happier and more successful outdoors, we put them to work in homes, farms, and businesses where they can do what they do best. All our blue collar kitties are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, ear tipped, and fully vaccinated. Why hire a Working Cat? By hiring a blue collar kitty, you can avoid using toxic pesticides, save money on a pest control service, and provide a home to a cat in need. Adoption fees are waived for our Working Cats. Cats are also more effective than other methods of pest control because they act as a deterrent! If you are interested in adopting a Working Cat, please visit the shelter in person to start the process.
