Meet Marty! Marty is estimated to be 14 months old. He was found abandoned with his 2 siblings, his mom and another cat at a local park in a dog cage. Marty developed a cold after being rescued. He was taken to the vet where a special test was done on him to see what was going on. The test came back as positive for FHV (Feline Herpes Virus) which is an upper respiratory condition that will cause signs of a cold. Flareups may happen whenever something stressful comes up and being left in a dog crate at a park is probably what brought it on. It is not a serious condition, but it is contagious to other cats (not to dogs and humans) if there are signs of a cold. He has not shown any signs of a cold since then and appears perfectly healthy. A good diet, an immune strengthening supplement and a stress-free environment would be excellent for him. Marty is a playful, curious, energetic boy. He will run in front of you daring you to chase him. Marty is friendly with the foster's dogs and with proper introduction, Marty would do well with a small cat friendly dog. His siblings have found their forever home and now it's his turn for his happy ever after ending. Marty is vaccinated, neutered, combo tested negative, rabies and microchipped. Meet Patches! Patches was left in a dog crate at a local park with her sibling and her siblings three 6-month-old kittens. We are not sure of her age, but it appears she may be at least 2-3 years old. She is a beautiful white and grey tabby with tuffs of fur jutting out the top of her ears. Patches is a calm, shy, sweet girl with a birdlike meow. She is a talker, letting her foster mom know when she's hungry. She is a little shy and will need someone who will be patient and will allow her to relax and feel comfortable in her new home and environment. Important to note that the 3 kittens found with Patches were found to have a virus that develops upper respiratory symptoms when a flare up occurs. A flare up can occur when stressful situations arise. Patches was found with them, is still living with them and although she has no symptoms, it would be better for her to be adopted as an only cat. Patches foster does have dogs, and she doesn't seem to mind them or pay attention to them. We believe a small cat friendly dog would be a good fit for her. Tiger is a 12 year old Brown Tabby/White Cat with classic tabby stripes, a white bib and belly, four white feet, and a small white stripe down the middle of his face. He has lots of long white whiskers and although his blueish eyes are due to cataracts, he still has his vision and does not need medical procedures as he lives a comfortable and full life. Tiger is a rescue Cat from the streets who was brought inside at four months of age. He is a very friendly and playful boy who will be great company in your home and will be happy to sit and/or just hang out with you. Tiger is definitely a, ‘people Cat,’ and quickly becomes everyone’s friend. He is very affectionate and loving and has a streak of curiosity in him. Tiger’s hobbies are taking naps, catching bugs, sitting with his humans, receiving pets, looking out the windows, and being in high places (tall cat tree!) He will play with just about anything and enjoys Cat toys. Tiger tends to eat quickly, so a slow feeder would help

Fenty is a 7-10month old polydactylunneutered tabby who was raised by an unhoused woman and abandoned. He has around 2 extra toes on each of his front paws. He is incredibly friendly and affectionate and needs a warm home with lots of love!! The vet said he is very healthy and has tested negative for FIV/FLV. He has had his rabies vaccine and the first round of his other vaccines. My cat is FLV+ so I cannot take him in, but they love to chat through the screen so I think he would do really well with another cat.

Story

Maple is a lively, energetic kitty who has a ton of energy, especially for an 8 year old cat. She likes to play, and prefers to be around her human(s), although she does not care to be touched/petted very much (she enjoys a bit of head and chin scratches though). After we adopted Maple, she was diagnosed with pemphigus foliaceus, an autoimmune condition that causes sores on her face and paws. She is currently on steroids and another immune suppressing drug to manage her condition, and other than her requiring daily medication, she is healthy and her condition is in remission. She will require medication for the rest of her life. She was in a cattery with other kitties when we adopted her, so she could potentially get along with other cats, but I have two other cats at home who do not like her and are aggressive towards her. It is because of this that we can't keep her, and would like her to be in a good home where she has free reign of the house.
