Story
Ernie is almost a year old. Still a kitten. He loves to play and is just adorable. Unfortunately, I cannot keep him for various reasons. Ernie needs a home where he can be loved and cared for. I can provide toys that I bought while trying to find him a home. He's very active and very curious, very much a typical kitten / cat. He just needs someone that can give him love and attention. He is very playful and very active, as most kittens and young cats are. He'd made a wonderful addition to your home. If you adopt Ernie, I will also give you his toys.

Story
LUNA Luna is Dexter’s beautiful little sister. They look almost identical except she has a brown streak down her nose that I love! She also has the gold coloring and ticking of the beautiful Abyssinian. Luna is playful and inquisitive… aren’t all kittens? She’s also very cuddly and loves to be near her person. Luna and Dexter are being fostered with four the same age of another litter; they are comparatively, while very playful, much more mellow than the other four. Luna and her brother Dexter are also good friends of the resident dog. These two beautiful babies will bring so much happiness to their furrever family. If you would like more information about Luna please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application. Story
Nala Nala is a great little girl. She has a sister that is almost identical. Nala is a little darker grey strip than her sister Simba. Yes Simba is a girl. Nala and her sister Simba are very playful. I sometimes don't know how they have so much energy. The resident dog is having a great time with the kitties. She loves to play but is very loving and affectionate. Loves to be held and when she thinks she going to be picked up she starts to purr. Nala would love to be adopted with her sister Simba but can also be a friend to your other pet. If you choose to keep these two together, I’m sure they will provide you with years and years of love and entertainment. If you would like more information about Nala please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application. Thanks. Story
Crawl is about 14 years old and looks small for her age. Crawl is a shy, easily startled girl, but given time and patience, she flourishes into the sweet, affectionate cat she is. After a couple of weeks in foster care, she feels more comfortable and cuddles with her fosters every night. She loves to be petted, and sit next to you. She loved her sister cat Cleo who passed away about 3 years ago. Since then, she looks for company and has not been so shy and seems to want more attention and she may cry at night if lonely. I think she may get along with other cats, but dogs, and small children startle her. She will do best in a quiet home with adults or seniors. Sadly, we have moved and could not take her with us and are looking for a great home and family for our sweet girl! Fun fact: We got her name from the movie How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days

Story
Pampered Pair Max and Katie are 13-year-old littermates, and a bonded pair. They have always been together and need to stay together in a new forever home. This pair were the pampered pets of a longtime Laguna Woods resident who has had to move into memory care. Max is darker and has tabby stripes; Katie is more tortie with some warm brown in her soft fur. Both have large greenish eyes. Vet-checked and current on shots, Max and Katie have been through a lot of changes, and depend on each other. They cuddle together and groom each other. Katie is more shy, and in stressful situations it seems to calm her to have Max nearby. Max is outgoing, and both are friendly. They do like petting and grooming attention from people. Both will roll over for a nice tummy rub. Max and Katie are nice laid-back cats who don't get into mischief. They're not interested in jumping on things. They both love their catnip scratcher boxes. Katie can be a talker and she often chatters to herself or to her foster. They seem content to hang out, relax, and nap, which makes them easy pets to care for and love. To meet Max and Katie, call/text Gina Hall at 949-330-0892.

Story
MYSTERY GIRL The Cat Club has a Lulu of a mystery on our hands with pretty Lulu. A resident reported a beautiful tabby at her door. Lulu's microchip led us to a woman near Los Angeles who gave Lulu to her mother, who lives in Fontana, 50+ miles away from Laguna Woods. The mother claimed that Lulu escaped and couldn’t be lured back in, so Lulu was left outside. The neighbors complained, and then Lulu suddenly disappeared. How did Lulu get from Fontana to Laguna Woods? Lulu is about 2 years old, a lovely warm brown tabby girl with lynx-style black tufts on the tips of her ears. She's friendly, a good eater, and interested in petting and playtime with her foster. She loves her wand toys and will leap into the air to catch them. She also enjoys her catnip cat pad and other catnip toys. She's a sweet cat girl who deserves a new and loving home. To meet Lulu, contact Carolyn Maxwell at 949-742-0066. You won't regret giving this girl a chance!

Story
***Courtesy listing*** This handsome boy is Wyatt. He was rescued from a new community construction area in the city of Corona. He was assumed to be feral and the goal was to TNR him, however after vetting we discovered he is FIV positive and does not appear to be feral. He is very scared and shy, but not aggressive at all. The veterinarian was able to handle him and he allows pets without a single hiss or swat. He is likely a dumped pet. He has been fully vetted (neutered, snap tested, vaccinated, Nextgard combo) and appears very healthy. Estimated to be 1 years old. Veterinarian indicates he can continue to live a healthy life, but recommends an indoor home due to his compromised immune system from FIV. He should ideally be in a single cat home or homed with another FIV positive kitty. Please consider opening your home to this sweet boy in need! Sadly, due to no other choice, he is currently being crated. He really needs a loving home that can provide him space and love to continue to decompress and learn he doesn’t have to be scared of people. P.S. his nose is scabbed in the photographs due to injury during trapping. He was given an antibiotic injection and his cute little nose is healing well. If you can open your heart and home to this sweet boy, please let me know. Thank you, Sarah Nodine 949-291-4192
