Story
Lyla and her brother Rocky are a bonded pair of adorable siblings looking for their forever home together. Though they started life with a tough beginning, Lyla and Rocky have blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate cats you could ever meet. They might be a bit shy when meeting new people, but their playful and loving personalities truly shine once they feel comfortable. These two are great with other cats and can tolerate friendly dogs, making them perfect companions in a multi-pet household. They thrive on human interaction, whether it’s playtime with their favorite toys or cozy cuddles on the couch. Lyla and Rocky are strictly indoor cats, and it's important for their new family to respect this need for safety and comfort. They love to explore and play, but they also cherish those quiet moments snuggled up with you. If you’re looking for a pair of loving, playful companions who are ready to fill your home with joy, look no further! (The adoption fee is for both cats)

Story
We adopted Leia from Animal Friends of the Valley as a Kitten. She has lived with 2 dogs and 3 other cats. We are relocating and our new home has restrictions on the amount of animals. She is primarly an indoor cat, but she does go into our backyard. She's not a good jumper, so she doesn't go anywhere. She just turned 7 and we looking to rehome her.

Story
Gizmo is a sweet cat. He is friendly to other cats and does not seem to be afraid of dogs. He cannot jump or climb onto anything and does not like to be in high places. He loves attention and to snuggle. He likes playing hide and seek (he will meow if you do not find him quick enough). He likes to be in the same room as you, so having multiple beds is a plus for him. He needs a little guidance when it comes to food (he can smell it but does not find it immediately) and going to the bathroom (he notifies you that he has to go by scratching on the floor in front of you) He has issues climbing into litter boxes on his own if it is a taller box, so you may need to help him climb in. We are only rehoming him because we are moving and the new place does not allow furbabies.

Story
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! STARBIE and his 3 siblings (SHADOW, ELCO & INKY) were rescued from Los Angeles, California on Alameda and 101 in a trucking company parking lot. Rescue mama was called that a lady was trapping all the cats to get them fixed and needed help with the kittens. So our trapper went out and brough us the kittens so they would not have to die in that truck parking lot. They brought us 2 different set of siblings. A total of 7 kittens. And now STARBIE is ready for her FUREVER home! And let's let her tell you all about herself! Hello, I'm STARBIE! As a young cat, I'm still learning about the world around me. I'm independent, so I don't need constant attention, but I'm sweet enough to melt your heart. My curiosity keeps me exploring, and my goofy side keeps me stumbling into silly situations. I'm smart, figuring out new toys quickly, and playful, always ready for a game. I can be a bit shy, but once I trust you, we'll be best friends. I've got a mischievous streak, and my zoomies are something to behold. I'm mellow too, so after a play session, I'm content to curl up and snooze. Why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to keep you entertained, provide plenty of laughs, and give you all the love a kitten can give. I'm ready to find my forever home, are you ready for a STARBIE-sized bundle of joy? STARBIE is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / MACKEREL TABBY MIX. She is about 1 year 6 months old and is good with cats. She has not been around young children or dogs. She has been around Guinea pigs. STARBIE is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. STARBIE is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
