Meet (. ) This little girl was playfully running in the neighborhood without her mother's permisson' 😻🙏. Possibly abandoned or separated from her litter, she's nonetheless good-natured and friendly. She'll keep you entertained all day..until nap time. At 3 mos old, she already has a big personality She loves to play, explore, and is socialized with cats and humans. A natural cuddle bug , she'll melt your heart. She 's very tidy, and is litter box trained. She really doesn't know how small she is and wants to engage with everyone. She is up to date on shots, is healthy with her wellness exam/report, and has tested negative for the snap test. (Name still searching ) looking for a furever home...as a strictly indoor cat! She loves her toys and would be a loving addition to another kitten /cat household, with no dogs or children. Looking for a playmate and loving responsible pet parents . Get ready to be loved unconditionally ....😻😻😻 .

Story
Hi all! I have owned Piper since she was about a week old. She was found from a stray litter where the mother abandoned them. Piper is now 8yrs old and is a very self sufficient cat. She enjoys being in her own space and only receiving attention when she wants it. Even though she likes being in her own space she loves to have someone around always. She does have a very lot of anxiety and dry skin and tends to chew and pick the hair out of her butt. If you have a busy schedule and/or household she will not do well. I unfortunately am having to move homes and in the upcoming days after my move my schedule will be much much busier. I believe she would do much better in a home where she can have more attention or at the very least someone around most of the time so she is not alone.

Story
Two young women approached the AALOC front door and rang the doorbell. With only one team member working that afternoon handling all the animals’ needs she was unable to respond immediately. When no one answered quickly enough the two women left the box with five precious female kittens and drove away. We are currently maxed out on space but how can you turn your back on these sweet little babies that no one cares about? We named these adorable, female kittens after perfumes. If you’ve ever owned a cat, you know healthy cats smell delicious. They constantly groom themselves to keep their fur clean. Cats also use smell as their primary sense for identifying people and objects. Felines have over 200 million odor sensors in their nose. Compare this to humans who have a mere five million. Cats can smell more than 14 times better than we can so always be conscious of the smell of scented litter, candles or other items/people that might upset your cat. Besides, we think Estee, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Tabu are very upscale cats. And we know they all need and deserve great forever homes. Please apply to adopt Prada (and one or more of her siblings if you can!) at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Prada and get to know her a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Story
Carlie, a young feline who was in the family way, knew she would be giving birth to her litter of kittens soon. So, she looked for a safe place and found one on the back patio of a home. She delivered her five kittens, two girls and three boys, and then her luck got even better. Carlie and her new family were accepted at AALOC, where they all would be cared for without any concern about finding food or being safe. Named after the Happy Days TV show, the girls are called Shirley and Joanie, and the boys Richie, Chachi and of course, Fonzy. Richie is an adorable fellow that loves to be held and petted; he’s super friendly. He has a fascination with mobile phones and is very curious about how they work, so he might also be the “techie” one of the litter. Mackerel tabbies come in all colors, but Richie is particularly handsome with his broad white chest and paws. He looks a like Fonzy but for the two brown marks on either side of his nose. In general mackerel tabbies are known to be adventurous and fun to own. They are very playful and like to have a box of toys from which to choose. They can be “inspectors,” and like to be included in anything that is happening in the house and explore their domains. Many mackerel tabby owners feel mackerel tabbies are extremely intelligent and some say mackerel tabbies are more dog than cat, since they will readily follow you around, play fetch and like to snuggle. Please submit an application to adopt Richie and perhaps one of his siblings too at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Richie and get to know him a bit. Story
Late in the evening a man brought a box of four five-week-old kittens to AALOC. He said they were from the Norm Reeves Honda parking lot. Employees had been monitoring them and noticed the momma cat had not come back for hours so the concerned man brought them to AALOC. They were taken to the vet to be checked out and boarded for the night. An amazing volunteer foster picked them up the next day. Four days later there was a knock on the door at the AALOC humane center. It was the wife of the man who originally brought the four kittens. She had a fifth litter mate. This other kitten had been separated from the litter and alone for almost four days! We are so happy he survived on his own! He too was examined by our vet and then rejoined his litter mates with the compassionate foster caring for the group. We named the kittens after the Cheers TV show: There is Norm, Sam, Carla, Cliff and Frasier (the kitten that was found last). Norm, Sam, Cliff and Frasier are handsome male orange tabbies. Carla, the only female, is a brown and black mackerel tabby. Please apply to adopt Carla (and one or more of his siblings if you can!) at www.AALOC.org. Story
Kelly knew she needed to find a home so she picked a senior center where she thought she would get plenty of love and attention. Kelly was persistent and kept trying to find a way to enter the building. Unfortunately, the facility did not allow residents to keep pets but one of the ladies cared a great deal about Kelly and brought her to AALOC. Kelly is a beautiful buff and white, short-haired tabby. She is friendly and playful. Although she thought a senior woman or man would be her perfect new owner, she is entirely open to being adopted into any family. She is such a sweet cat! Please submit an application to adopt Kelly at www.AALOC.org. Amelia is an adorable and funny kitty, cute and short, too. She loves to mark her scents on her foster mom and enjoys getting pets.
