Story
Special Needs Cat looking for good home Phoebe is a girl cat in Tabby Silver stripes. She has short thin fur. She loves playtime and lap-cuddles. She likes jumping on shoulders and roosting like a parrot. She is friends with lots of our other fosterlings who are adoptable too. She calmly accepts nail trims. She is fixed and vaccinated. She is a special needs cat. Sadly she was surrendered to us with her tail soggy and dragging, after being rescued from a rehab shelter. Our vet cleared the UTI, but xrays revealed a broken tail bone. Our vet amputated her tail and she is now much happier being a Manx cat. She knows to use her litter box. However, her butt nerves are severed and un-operable, so she has occasional accidents. We simply keep her in her own area and swap 2-3 puppy pads each day. When given safe access outdoors, she seems more able to pee then, meaning some possible behavior issues. You may have all vet papers and xrays. Comes with NIB playstation, NIB portable pet carrier, and toys. Estimated birth 4-1-23

Good with cats,
Story
Snowy is kitten about a year old or less. He along with his other sibling Vision were found and come to us often to be fed. He was very hesitant at first to meet us but warmed up quickly after seeing his (possible) dad and sibling do the same. Snowy is definitely a kitten of habit and seems to enjoy the familiar more then the unfamiliar so it may take some time to get acquainted to his new home. Snowy will definitely become a cuddle bug once he feels safe. While he is a very smart an independent kitten, it is unknown what his interests is or what he likes to play with due to the fact he stays reserved anytime we attempt to play with him. A motivator that Snowy seems to go for and get out of his shell for is food as he has purred multiple times when given a treat or fed.

Story
She’s the best cat, she’s so smart and loving. Just not too much with other animals, but she listens and so well behaved. I got her from the shelter when she was 3 months. She’s my baby and I love her so much. She’s going to be 7 this year, and I’m in the worst financial situation and I can’t take care of her. I’m so sorry, I wish it was different, but I don’t know what else to do. I just want her in a safe place with people that will and provide for her. She really deserves it. She’s such an amazing cat. She an outdoors girl too, she’s lives being outdoors and she’s soooo smart. I feel like I never have to worry about her. She takes care of her self so well. She’s an extreme girly girl. But she’s a hunter as well, that girl can really hunt. She has the best personality and will talk to you all day. But knows when to not be noisy.

These pups are in Davis, California too!

Story
Hi! I’m Paige, a VERY cute black mackerel tabby girl with a thick velvet coat and mom says I am a big girl. I’m here looking for my very own family! My hobbies include: hogging ALL the pets! having long conversations with the backyard birdies eating lots of yummies playing with my foster mates! I’m a sweet playful tomboy (what can I say, I was the only girl in my litter!) kind of girl but can be a bit bashful with new people. You see, I’m coming from a place where my littermates and I were abandoned, and where it was hard to trust, so I take some time to come around. But don’t worry, because my energetic, playful side will reveal itself in no time if you are patient! And did I mention my good looks? I’m looking for a somewhat calm home, with people who have patience to allow me the time I need to blossom into my awesome self! Mom says I would do best with a kitty friend or two who enjoy playing with someone who loves a good match and while I may be slow with getting to know you, I promise, once I know you, I will be your bestest friend ever! My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eat wet and dry food, and am litterbox perfect. They say that’s good! I currently live with my foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you’re my perfect adopter, please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com. If you are unable to reach Dayna, please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!

Story
Harley is a calm, black and white cat with light green eyes.  He loves pets and meows for them throughout the day.  He can be shy around new people but is a loveable sweetheart once he warms up.  He loves spending his time snuggled on the bed, eating his favorite treats and scratching his post. He is good with getting his nails clipped but is still working through his fear of loud sounds. Harley does well with other cats and must be adopted to a home with a feline companion. He is much braver and more confident with a feline companion to engage with. He would likely do well with dogs with a slow and well managed introduction, and would be a great companion for kids who are patient and allow him time to get to know them.    Harley is about a year and a half old, FeLV negative, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on other preventatives.                Apply to adopt here! Online cat application form  Applications are also available on the website  (www.yolospca.org)    It can take up  to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.   The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter.
