Story
If fireworks could also somehow be soft and loving... THAT would be Alfie! This zippy, zany, zoomy, 30-ish-pound, 5-month-old Schnauzer Mix burst onto our scene a few days ago, launched out of his home by a human who just couldn't keep up with him.Alfie came to PLAY!Alfie has ENERGY!But... Alfie has so much potential!!!This clever boy learned to sit and wait for treats in the blink of an eye. He's very receptive to training -- he's so proud when he makes you happy! So, Alfie needs a person or family with the time, patience, and energy to exercise his body and mind. A kind person or people who want to start an amazing journey with him -- one that helps him become the awesome dog he was meant to be. Folks, puppies are work -- you've got to put in the effort and be generous with the love. Do that, and the rewards are boundless.A note to parents -- Alfie is in that delightful "I have pointy baby teeth and all things must be chomped" phase. He's teething, exploring the world, and hands and faces are part of that world. If you have young children, please understand that their tiny fingers or noses could get scratched when they meet Alfie. Alfie would love to play with you at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA.Visiting hours are 9am to noon, daily, including weekends & holidays.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
